Are are Indians stupid.
100 plus jf17 in front line squadrons.
36 years a d you have 8 aircraft operational.
It's only inducted now because Indian government forced it not because the airforce wanted it.

But as always Indians are good at tamasha drama and amazing excuses. No excuse when after 36 years only 8 aircraft.

Let's not kid ourselves, when JFT was inducted it didn't have 3/4th the bells and whistles Tejas has when Tejas was inducted.
We just have higher standards than you lot, that's why you inducted an incomplete fighter and if I'm not wrong it still doesn't have a 3 axis fbw.

Literally JFT was the only fighter you lot could induct in numbers.

There is a reason why Tejas' R&D took so much time, i.e. the sanctions, but then again how would you lot know anything about R&D you lot have next to nil contribution in JFT.
Unlike for you lot we don't have sugar daddies who would do our work for us.

You Indian creatures really love yourselves and in your contact with civilisation, you really come out of your skin. Every time you jokers put a nut to the bolt, it becomes breaking news yet shamelessly point fingers at others, the F-16 started life as a light weight fighter, it couldn't even fire BVR missiles or drop LGBs but look how it's evolved, after 25 years most aircraft are nearing their service life while your Tejas is still crawling and talking of sugar daddies, just read how many boyfriends you lot had to sleep with to conceive the LCA, which you Bhartis can't stop mouthing off calling it indigenous.

What actually happened between 1983 and 2000? First, let us take the promise of indigenous development. In 1986 an agreement was quietly signed with the United States that permitted DRDO to work with four US Air force laboratories. The to-be-indigenously-developed engine for the LCA -- Kaveri -- was forgotten and the US made General Electric F-404 engine was substituted. Radar was sourced from Erricson Ferranti, carbon-fibre composite panels for wings from Alenia and fly-by-wire controls from Lockheed Martin. Design help was sought from British Aerospace, Avion Marcel Dassault and Deutsche Aerospace. Wind tunnel testing was done in the US, Russia and France. As for armaments -- missiles, guns, rockets and bombs -- every last item was to be imported.

When will that future come ? :D

Anyway.. both are aircrafts of present 4th generation, and even 5th generation is generation of present. What IAF means is Tejas aircraft of 6th generation ?

Well Tejas is taking it's time to be developed since Indians were busy creating the internet.......5000 years ago.

The only relevant part is this.
"Asked if #Tejas is better or SinoPak aircraft #JF17, IAF chief says JF17 is an aircraft of present since it is there in large numbers. #Tejas is an aircraft of future. Asked if #Tejas is better or SinoPak aircraft #JF17, IAF chief says JF17 is an aircraft of present since it is there in large numbers. #Tejas is an aircraft of future. Depends on what we equip #Tejas with. Ouch! @IAF_MCC @DefenceMinIndia. Ouch! @IAF_MCC @DefenceMinIndia"

Even in all this, the most noteworthy words are "Depends on what we equip #Tejas with."

In other words, currently Teja has no weapons integrated into it. Will do in future and you can rate it based on what will be integrated into it. I think he reflected the reality beautifully. Never expected that from a Sikh (no offense please).

For future ????Tejas will be 40 years older in 2020 .So future means you mean to induct this aircraft for another 40 years.Air forces will be looking for 5th generation fighters to replace 4th generations .Even Pakistan have to think about the replacement of Jf-17 thunder in next 15 years .

Maybe he was trying to hint that Tejas has time travelling capability, that it could go into the future, kill its enemies and then come back again to be a piece of crap, just to fool it's enemies. :D
hahahaha

Come on guys. BS Dhona is right. Tejas have been the aircraft for future for last thirty years. Way before JF17 was convinced. And I suspect with project Azm first prototype horizon in few years, Tejas will still be Indian jet for future.

Give some respect to old timer will yea!!

Can you please tell at what time (HH:MM:SS) Dhona replied to this question? I don't want to watch the complete video (insanely long like an Indian movie :) ).

‘Pakistan army cannot afford peace because then they cannot send their children to Ivy League colleges. Pak army will keep Kashmir boiling but not boil out.’
This must hurt
Yup all those kashmiris who got pallets.were than secretly later sent to ivy league ...there is something called shame....

Definitely true though.
Even their Supreme Court just questioned which other Military in the world sells cement and other things !
And I see silence from the Pakistani members about all the other statements made by COAS ;)
Ever heard of VA ????
Really guys
