I live in Hyderabad, people in South India seems normal, but yes the craziness for movies are bewildering with Tamils and Telugus, particularly Telugus, they watch Telugu movies, Hindi movies and even dubbed Tamil movies and still the Telugu film industry has the largest turnover in entire south India.

Guys, loss of lives is very sad and it's terifying if lost in love/ respect/ whatever of/for a convict.

Every one knows that Ms. Jaya was a croupt politician but no one know what was happening in heart and mind of people who took their lives. We do not know their situation or why they did it. The arguement of love an derspect is vague as you'll rarely find people doing it for their loved ones.

Please stop being judgemental and respect the deceased and spread the awareness that this is sin and they have no right to toss their families futrue, atleast not for a politician or in a situation that the said person they trust will take care is no more in power and capable to help them.

I agree with everything you said...She does deserve to go to jail, no doubt!...Any politician put in jail will create situations like this..I was living in chennai when MGR died....even when Indira Gandhi died same things happened..even in Chennai.

I only objected to what you termed "All Tamilians"...majority of Tamilians dont behave that way or Majority of Andhraites dont behave that way. By the way my mother tongue is Telegu and I am from Chennai...My native place of birth is bangalore....So I too undestand how various people react..(Just read up of how common people of Karnataka behaved when kannada actor RajKumar died).

I was in mysore when rajkumar died...... It was in the first or second week of april just before Vishu....... I remember the trouble i faced during that time...... It was horrible....... I was almost got beaten by a mob while i was restaurant, (those restaurant guys some how saved us from them)
