1)Neither of the two (Gujarat riots or the Dadri incident) happened in Pakistan.

2) No one has made the case that the Shiv Sena is involved in either.

I think the failures of the government have allowed groups like JuD to fill the vacuum, any group encouraging sectarianism has to be dealt with promptly, frankly speaking the government seems to be unsure of what to do, I say very weak leadership indeed, they should take a note from army chief Raheel Sharif. kudos

They are just an extension of LeT, I personally would not trust any group that has close ties to the wahabi establishment in Saudi.

Thanks for the confirmation. I was a bit puzzled when I read the news that JuD was banned.

the courts cleared them ages ago so why should their coverage be banned? at the same time, rather than people worry about coverage best to also join relief efforts or donate used clothes or toiletries or items that can be of help

Actually, this is a dumb move by the govt. which could end up with egg on their face. If a certain out fit has NOT been convicted of anything, than how can you ban their coverage, based on what?
