Jahangir Tareen nominates son for NA-154 by-poll

Extremely pathetic is the level of comments here. Our imbecile kiddos don't know that it is not called dynastic politics if someone starts from the ground up even if his parents were in politics.
Because majority of our audience here is ignorant (jahil) so they don't know that Justin Trudeau PM of Canada, and one of the most popular politicians around world, is the son of another politician Pierre Trudeau who was the PM of Canada. Similar instance can be found all around the globe.... Everyone knows that Senior and Junior Bush. The thing is that they all started from the ground and went through the political process. The only thing we hate is if they use their heritage to take an advantage and jump right at the top like Maryam Nawaz started acting de facto PM and Bilawal Zardari inherits PPP as the chairman. If they both started from the ground, like JKT's son, I would have no issue.

.
They all are same! Let IK come to power. You will remember this comment!!

.
Let's not be ignorant imbeciles and be realistic. If he had started as the general secretary of PTI, I would have opposed this decision but he is starting from the grass root level and totally admire the decision by PTI and Jahangir Khan Tareen.
get a better understanding of politics to determine what grass root level actually is rather than bieng an arrogant imbecile, u are cut from the same cloth as noora supporters, might as well get behind junaid safdar and start cheering for him while u are at it, im not in the habbit of entertaining the same cancer with a prettier face than the last....I will still vote for pti because as of today they seem better than the rest of the rotten lot but this precednt set by IK will turn his party into the same den of rott in a decade or so when he vanishes from the political scene, just as it happened to ppp, mqm and pmln. The problem with Pakistanis is that they have feudalism drilled into their brains, we choose to glorify singular leaders rather than pushing them to set precedents which preserve the nation for decades or centuries, with IK gone tomorow for some reason or another we will be left again with our dicks in our hands again to wait for the next great leader for a century, but if we set right precedents today, we wont need leaders like Ik to rescue us again. I wont pursue this any further as it is turning into more of an education rather than a discussion and frankly teaching always bored me, see ya.

Bullshit

Not good, pti is justifying the same evil they seek to battle, this son after father thing will make pti as decadent as pmln n ppp one day....this isnt about JKT bieng a good man, its about the principle that was hurt with this move....what qualification does little tareen have besides being jkt's son, absolutely nothing....

By all means give me a name of who should stand the election in NA154?

This is exactly why PTI received such a trouncing from PML-N in 2013 elections when they literally gave tickets to no name candidates.

Than by all means give us a name of who should stand for the elections from PTI ticket? Besides JKT, there is nobody in the constituency of NA154 that can beat PML-N. You really need to get a better grasp of Pakistani politics.

Gets angry, foaming at the mouth, no logical reply, resorts to abuses....u are sounding more and more like those whom u seek to defy on this forum. Its pathetic and tragic at the same time... I have seen ur stance on this forum for a while now, specially during panama hearings and frankly i expected better from u. Makes one loose hope in the intellect of thy country men.

PML N has the same mind set, they dont think they can win without nawaz shareef..... nazriya e zaroorat is no nazriya at all, if one seeks to aspire change he must stand by his stance. You just accepted that there is no other logical reason for little tareen other than the same strategy we despise so much in pmln. What happened to change, this is exactly what is wrong with us, hamen sab kuch jaldi chahye, beshak zuban jal jaye, asaan rasta chahye, the voters who enabled dynastic politics in ppp and pmln had the same mindset of nazriya e zaroorat, then why do we bash them left n right for bieng stupid jahils when we ourselves are enabling the same circle of hell all over again, have u any idea what precedent this move sets??, how will Ik deny the children of his other MNA's now after this move, ever thought of that?? Asaan nhn hai haq ka rasta warna jibreel ke par na jalte khuda ke qurbat se...The principle of ending dynastic politics was bigger than loosing one constituency, IK just sacrificed it for one national assembly seat, a pretty cheap deal if u ask me and there are no do overs, he has set a wrong precedent n now no matter how hard he tries he wont be able to keep his others MNA's from introducing their children into politics and volla we have pmln and ppp 2.0 in a decade, congrats.

All i am hearing is a rant, you're not giving me a name of who should stand besides Ali Tareen. But i do agree with what you're saying, but i have to remind you that you're in Pakistan not England.

Practicality is different than idealism. Whether we like it or not, people in Punjab vote based on who the candidate is, and what the candidate has done for the constituency. Police, Gas, Schools, Petrol, Biryani etc are what people vote on, not on who can do the best legislation. Majority of the tickets given in 2013 were to no names in Punjab, and they got absolutely trounced in the elections. Tickets given to known candidates resulted in either victory or a much closer contest with the PML-N for the total votes secured. This is how the populace votes whether you like it or not, KPK is the only exception where no name candidates from PTI were able to beat heavyweights from ANP and PPP.

If you think what IK is doing is wrong, than by all means offer me an alternative. I just see you complaining, i am not hearing a solution. Give me a name of which candidate should stand for the elections in NA154 who can actually beat PML-N. I am all ears, you have my attention.

Personally, i am against Ali Tareen running for the seat. He is not starting from the ground, he's going up straight as an MNA candidate. He is only standing because of his father and nothing else. He hasn't done any work in UC or on the streets like his father have.

But practically is also important in Pakistan's politics. I know for a fact that there is no one in Lodhran besides JKT who can beat PML-N.

To some extent, you're right but you have to take into consideration the Pakistani politics and it is a big contrast in this context when the children of NS and BB have directly inherited the families JKT's son is starting by running in the election. Also we need to take into account the ground realities that his father has done a great job in his constituency so that advantage will go to him. Also JKT has done a lot for PTI so due to the balancing act by SC he got disqualified and he resigned from his post in a dignified manner. His support has help PTI a lot and let's face it, all movements need money the difference is that whether you collect money from the people and members of the party or get it from the establishment, external agencies and other anti-Pakistan elements.

;)

i get you, i understand how the mindset of the voter works here yet u must understand that England or any other developed country was once in a worse state than Pakistan is right now, their general public used to be just as jahil as our voters are now, before their leaders, several of them stood up for principles and sacrificed much to establish precedents which aspires the political intellect the voters of such nations posses now, we were hoping for change yet we keep falling into the same trap again and again because we dont want to sacrifice, if IK couldnt win in lodhran without JKT's son than he should've choosen to loose rather than compromising on a principle that will now unleash the devil on his party from within, IK might've achieved success with a new candidate even, due to the fact that JKT would still be a PTI member n he would've helped convince the locals to vote infavour of PTI, yet even if such a decision lead to defeat, IK should've swallowed it yet shouldnt have compromised on the said principle, the reason i am bieng so harsh on this ali tareen decision is that IK is nw left with no argument to stop other party MNA's from bringing their children into politics in the future, if IK refuses his party will implode from within( u see all practical, not foolish idolizm), he has let the devil in with this decision, he has neglected long term gains in favour of short term ones, i had serious hopes from this party and frankly their future doesnt seem different from ppp n pmln to me after this.

.
We should not be idiots. So what if his father is a politician? He is starting from the bottom and not becoming the de facto PM of like the anti-Pakistan bitch Maryam Safdar who became de-facto prime minister without even being an MNA.

If we run after experience, how can we let fresh people into politics? BTW his father is a politician so he has experience.

New people should join at the bottom, not at the top. In all real political cultures people start as supporters and workers and earn thier nomination. This will always look like nepotism - one of the pillars of our current corrupt system.

My bro it is almost the bottom. Due to his father's work in his constituency, he has an edge so that benefit should go to PTI. Are we fools that we reject a strong candidate while there is nothing against him and search for some one new in that area who does not stand a chance?
