Shopian: An encounter is underway in the Shopian district of South Kashmir where an Army patrol party was attacked by terrorists leading to a gunbattle between both parties.

The incident occurred near Koungloo village in South Kashmir's Shopian district.

Two terrorists are believed to be holed up. Security forces have cordoned off the area.

No casualties have been reported so far.
