This is sad on many levels. Kashmiris are being treated as Band baaja baratis in their home by outsiders. This is what occupiers did throughout history: they forced the inhabitants of conquered territory to become singers and dancers for entertainment.They do not even have a state left anymore, their political leaders are now all irrelevant. Kashmir was the only Muslim-majority state of India before its reclassification as a Union Territory. This means their official language, way of life, demographics, culture etc. nothing is protected as it happens in other states of India. That is why I consider the scrapping of Article 370 a human rights abuse.
