QBZ-95 is nowhere close to the Tevor TAR 21.
QBZ-95 is not used by any credible army apart from the Chinese & Pakistani army & it's only good at close quarters.

Under what parameter isn't not close? In terms of muzzle velocity and ballistic penetration the 5.8x42 caliber of the QBZ-95 out performs the 5.56x45 NATO of the Tavor.

The quantity of user countries does not make a particular rifle better or worse.

According to who? You?
Israel has the highest research and development spending % and the results are clear. They have their own rifles and their own first grade weapons. It shows the failure of muslim nations and the success of the Jews. Yom Kippur war and 6 day war all culminated in a failure of the arab world to defeat Israel on the battlefield.
There is much we can learn from Israel.
Those bungling fools were not even coordinated. Go spend some time reading the actual accounts of the battle and how ill-equipped, untrained, and uncoordinated the Arab armies were. If you were Israel you could not have asked for a better arrangement.
