TAVOR Assault Rifles
Tavor is an Israeli bullpup assault rifle chambered for 5.56×45mm NATO ammunition with as elective fire system, selecting between semi-automatic mode and full automatic fire mode.

Built around a long-stroke piston system, the Tavor was designed to maximise reliability, durability, and ease-of-maintenance, particularly under adverse or battlefield conditions.

Due to the dynamic changes in the modern battlefield, the threats of global terrorism and the demands of ever-changing combat situations, there was a need for a new versatile, innovative and technologically advanced weapon.

The TAVOR assault rifle was especially created to answer these varied demands, thus distinguishing itself as the ultimate weapon of the 21st century.

The TAVOR was developed in close cooperation with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The Tavor is today in service in the IDF infantry troops as well as in the forces of other countries throughout the world. The rifle family has an excellent performance record in the battlefield with its attributes of high precision, reliability and human ergonomics being its leading characteristics.

Characteristics:

  • Bull pup configuration.
  • Optimized ergonomic design.
  • 30 Rds. Magazine capacity.
  • Body built of high strength impact modified polymer.
  • Detachable barrel.
  • Integrated reflex sight directly attached on to the barrel.
  • Conversion from day optics to night optics is done without the need of re-zeroing.
  • 100% Ambidextrous thus making the use by right or left handed shooters easy.
  • Has true “OTB” (over-the beach) capability and can be safely fired after being submerged in water and not completely dry.
  • Designed for Minimum operator and armorer level maintenance, thus reducing maintenance and life cycle costs.
  • Folding back-up sights that include tritium for night combat.
  • Very easy field stripping into 2 parts.

Do you have to post the same thing in every thread?

Have u tried your hand at Tavor?..Just because it is Chinese it is deadlier, lethal, faster etc.????

QBZ-95 has way higher muzzle velocity and that means way more hitting power.

QBZ-95 is deadlier.
QBZ-95 is nowhere close to the Tevor TAR 21.
QBZ-95 is not used by any credible army apart from the Chinese & Pakistani army & it's only good at close quarters.

QBZ has a lower rate of fire and range besides what sights are there on QBZ?
TAVOR Assault Rifles are way better in terms of Range , Rate of fire & capability than QBZ-95 . Tevor is actually 10 times more reliable that QBZ-95 in real compact situations

QBZ-95

Caliber
: 5.8x42 mm (5.56x45 mm NATO)
Action: Gas operated, rotating bolt
Weight: 3.4 kg unloaded
Rate of fire: ~ 650 rounds per minute
Range - 400 -500 m

Tevor TAR 21

Caliber
: 5,56 x 45 NATO
Action Gas operated,rotating bolt
Weight 3,27 kg empty
Magazine capacity: 30 rounds
Rate of fire 700- 900 rounds per minute
Range: 700 - 900 m

I don't like the rifle. Too many parts, too many places that it can go wrong.

In fact Tavor has extremely simple field strip (easier than AK-47). Thats it:

QBZ-95 is deadlier.
Here is a nice comparison:

In short:

1) Muzzle break - Tavor win.
2) Gas system - both never had a single problem, but T97 has more adjustments.
3) Optics rails - Tavor clear win.
4) Charging handle - Tavor clear win.
5) Trigger - both had bad heavy factory triggers, but Tavor trigger can be improved.
6) Mag release - Tavor clear win.
7) Bolt release - Tavor clear win (T97 does not have one, u have to recharge).
8) Safety switch - Tavor clear win.
9) Mounting accessories - Tavor clear win.
10) Pistol grip and ergonomics - he likes T97 more.
11) Field strip and cleaning - T97 wins.
12) Balance - he likes T97 more.
13) Accuracy - Tavor wins.
14) Magazines - Tavor wins (can use all types).
