Israel Embassy car attack: Delhi cops arrest 'journalist'

The Delhi Police claimed to have arrested a 40-year-old freelance journalist for conspiring to bomb the Israeli Embassy's vehicle last month.

Police said the accused identified as Mohammad Qadri Sheikh, a resident of south Delhi reportedly worked for an Iranian agency and carried out the blast at their behest.

Sheikh, a Shia himself was anti-Israel and he conspired with one more person to carry out the blast.

The man who planted the bomb is yet to be traced. Sheikh was picked up late last night from his home. Further investigations were on.

Israeli diplomat Tal Yehoshua and an Indian driver of the embassy vehicle, were among four people injured in the blast after a magnetic bomb stuck to the vehicle went off.

Journalist was for an Iranian agency.

And indian newspapers never denote a person shia or sunni, and they are saying he is Shia.

So time for new conspiracy theories again

Lets say for argument sake he worked for someone in Iran, what if its MEK sponsored by Mossad, you would still blame Iran?

I always knew there was a Indian Shia Fielded By Iran Behind this...& that Guy should have been Arrested Days before But Our Home Ministry & Delhi police waited for the Elections to get over... Such a Sad & Pathetic State of Affair in India... For Mere Vote bank Politics Congress have delayed the Arrest of a Terrorist ... Look Bro... i have no Reservations on Iran like other Guys ... I Fully Support Iran on US Sanction & Totally against the Israeli Killing of Iranian Scientist ...

But Iran Should have Not Used Indian Soil to Revenge it... we will never Support it... U r Loosing Indian Support by such Acts ...

I dont think Iran did it, common sense. Too many people jump to conclusions without any actual facts, or without using brains - ask yourself who benefits from such attacks? US, Israel, etc, but NOT Iran.

Evidence states otherwise he was not arrested for nothing.

Syed Mohammed Kazmi was arrested on Tuesday after investigations showed he had been in touch with a suspect police believed might have stuck a magnetic bomb to the diplomat's car, the Associated Press news agency quoted Mr Bhagat as saying.

Police said they had searched Mr Kazmi's house over the past two days to gather evidence, but gave no details of what they found.

Reports said Mr Kazmi, 50, was an Indian citizen who worked as a journalist for an Iranian publication.

The chap worked as a journalist for an Iranian publication and his house was searched i read also the bike used in the blast was at his location is that not evidence yes?


It's too early to say if he is guilty but if he is then he should be charged.
