We have a lot more in common with China - continent, size of population, aspirations, ancient civilization, emphasis on family values & education, Eastern religion, impact on environment, energy importers. Of course we have our differences.
So we do it seems. But I take major exception to one alleged commonality. Our aspiration is to become a developed country. Your aspiration is to become a hegemonic superpower.
China left it's value and civilization around 20 years back. They are more Western than you think. Much more Western than India.
Hardly. For one, Western English-language media penetrates India, but not China. For another, many Indians have ancestry deriving from ancient Aryans, who belong to the same Indo-European family as ancient Europeans. Chinese don't.
