Islamic State militants threaten Turkey with violence if Euphrates water supply not restored

No it wasnt Bush's job to call it a war on the world and ask the leaders of Australia and UK to butt in! It also wasnt Bush's domain to go lie that UN had approved their shit in Iraq....
All I am saying is the way they talked...Big city ...doesnt equal to war on world as Bush said!

He didn't call it a "War on the World", but a "War on Terror" with the emphasis being on what America calls a Terrorist Group.

America is the Melting Pot, Salad Bowl of the World, of course, attacking a city here, does mean war on the world. Haven't you ever seen a map? America is close to the center of the picture, every time Aliens come to Earth they come to America, if they want to destroy Earth they take out LA, NYC, D.C. American Cities. America = Earth.

Side note there was an amendment to rename USA to United States of Earth, 1893.

But seriously, Terrorist didn't just attack NYC, they attacked the fundamentals that make them jealous in the first place. Freedom. Freedom, to do pretty much what ever you want, within the confines of law. AQ didn't just attack 3 buildings and failed with another plane, but it was to drive fear into every government in the world. 'We can attack America, we can take you out also'. The response was as much as to get Justice as to provide a safety to preserve authority.

You are welcome to debate whether Bush was Utilitarian or believed in Kant's Human Dignity.

yet too many conspiracies claim that America did it to themselves to get a ticket to attack middle east (a debate for another time)...

Turkey will **** these jokers up in no time.
Fucking retards

loool how can you be sure turkey will ***** them up in no time? These are militants/jihadists rebels who adopt military tactics at times and guerilla ones when faced with a better armed/powerful ennemy. Even the U.S/NATO combined strength(which is hundred of times more powerful than what Turkey can ever dream of matching) still couldnt/cant completely defeat *** up these jokers in no time even after a decade of fighting in Iraq and afghanistan, and almost all turkeys weapons comes from us, So good luck with that.
Coming back to the topic, i find it ironic that Turkey has been supporting covertly these radical/islamist groups in their fight in Syria which has now expanded to Iraq. I dont just understand this reasoning. Though to be honest/fair, our government in the west/U.S have been supporting them as well. However i can understand our governments position, since they are after our interests, since using gulf countries and Turkey to finance/support these groups helps weaken Syria, Hezbollah and Iran to some extent which are the only countries Russia has much influence/ a military base(in syria) in the middle east and gives Israel even more space/strength in this region. So i kind of understand our position.
However, what i dont understand is Turkeys support for these rebels/islamists. Turkey should know that it is a middle east country(though it might try as much to be european), and borders these countries who are in turmoil/conflicts. so it will also have repercussions on iut. when you play with fire/too close to it, it will eventually burn you. At least we are far far away from this region, so we cant easilly be affected by it. I think the Ergogan government made a really big mitsake supporting these rebels in the first place in Syria, now its too late to even stop, since they have already grown too big/independent. I expect them to soon start suicide bombings(heard there has been a few in the a while ago) in Turkey soon, when their interests dont match. Turkey should learn from pakistan experience with the Mujahideen.

Every Entertainment industry of a nation has to appeal to it's own national interests before some others.

Lets not derail the thread shall we?

Agreed

lool ok i respect your opinion. Though i disagree with it. I dont think Turkey is more powerful than even our military. Forget aboput the U.S, and we have been fighting these jihadists/islamists for more than a decade now withouht much sucess. Fighting an ennemy who uses guerilla hit and run/suicide bombings tactics/mixes with the local population isnt easy. its not as if you are fighting a defined military force. mind you as i said before, almost all turkeys military hardware comes from us, so they wont **** up these group in no time as you said, it will be a protracted campaign that will last years/decades without much end in sight(e.g the PKK is still alive and active, though Turkey came to its senses/reality and started negotiating with them, since they noticed there could be no military solution to this.):bounce:

U guys don't want success...............

. . . .
huh....what do you mean by that bro?o_O

Its just for bases......some for installing new puppet governments like in iraq and now being tried in syria.
The isis is just an offshoot from syrian rebels being funded by west and saudi both.

Syria is the last russian ally in middle east and not in friendly terms with west.

Almost all of your weapons come from you? How? %75 of Armed Forces are supplied by Turkish products. The rest is American/Israeli/Korean and a little Chinese.

2- Don't say that. We all know well that Turkey beats PAK in firepower, equipment and training combined. Don't be that blind.

Hey Haj Ghasem. Are you in Iraq now ? :D

yes i heard america is back in iraq, i'll send them a txt message like last time :) :

Nor was Suleimani ever shy about showing the United States who was boss in Baghdad. In 2008, he sent a text message to Iraq’s president, Jalal Talabani, intended for General David Petraeus, then leading the U.S. war effort in Iraq. It read: “Dear General Petraeus, you should know that I, Qassem Suleimani, control the policy for Iran with respect to Iraq, Lebanon, Gaza and Afghanistan. And indeed, the ambassador in Baghdad is a Quds Force member. The individual who’s going to replace him is a Quds Force member.” Two years earlier, after the Second Lebanon War between Israeli and Hezbollah drew to a close, Suleimani is said to have sent a similar message to the Americans, in the Green Zone, who were then witnessing a lull in carnage: “I hope you have been enjoying the peace and quiet in Baghdad. I’ve been busy in Beirut!”
