No it wasnt Bush's job to call it a war on the world and ask the leaders of Australia and UK to butt in! It also wasnt Bush's domain to go lie that UN had approved their shit in Iraq....
All I am saying is the way they talked...Big city ...doesnt equal to war on world as Bush said!
He didn't call it a "War on the World", but a "War on Terror" with the emphasis being on what America calls a Terrorist Group.
America is the Melting Pot, Salad Bowl of the World, of course, attacking a city here, does mean war on the world. Haven't you ever seen a map? America is close to the center of the picture, every time Aliens come to Earth they come to America, if they want to destroy Earth they take out LA, NYC, D.C. American Cities. America = Earth.
Side note there was an amendment to rename USA to United States of Earth, 1893.
But seriously, Terrorist didn't just attack NYC, they attacked the fundamentals that make them jealous in the first place. Freedom. Freedom, to do pretty much what ever you want, within the confines of law. AQ didn't just attack 3 buildings and failed with another plane, but it was to drive fear into every government in the world. 'We can attack America, we can take you out also'. The response was as much as to get Justice as to provide a safety to preserve authority.
You are welcome to debate whether Bush was Utilitarian or believed in Kant's Human Dignity.
