Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia
So let me get this right...Saudi, Qatar and Kuwait are not Sunnis? If they are then why would they slaughter not 1 or 2 sunni muftis but 300?
They didn't merge. Nusra is actually an ISIS offshoot, since Baghdadi sponsored them. But instead, Nusra emir pledged aligiance to Qaeda and that still stands today. So no merger, altough some of Nusra have defected to IS.
So you mean to tell me they are not Sunni but they are also not Shia coz they have been at Iran forever...so what are they?Are they go ahead and please tell us all How they have any thing to do with sunnah. Life style ,Governance style. Give me any thing that proves that they are since you insist on this go ahead and convince me that they are.
OBL was long dead before ISIS emerged as we know it as he was hiding in Pakistan for years without much influence. Besides OBL was half Yemeni and half Syrian.
Jordanian and European intelligence agencies discovered that Zarqawi formed the group Jund al-Sham in 1999 with $200,000 of start up money from Osama bin Laden.
To summarize the whole thing.
FSA = Western backed.
IF = Gulf backed
ISIS = Receives private donors by rich businessmen in the Gulf, gets fund using oil exports to regime and stealing money in Iraq but now they have shitload of cash in Mosul.
But yeah, right now at the moment ISIS outnumbered every anti-Assad groups in terms of sophisticated arms, weapons, money, oilfields and territories.
"As we know it today".
It's a trojan horse and headed by former Iraqi Ba'athist's.
Propaganda against gccAmerica's Allies Are Funding ISIS
The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), now threatening Baghdad, was funded for years by wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, three U.S. allies that have dual agendas in the war on terror.
The extremist group that is threatening the existence of the Iraqi state was built and grown for years with the help of elite donors from American supposed allies in the Persian Gulf region.
In the years they were getting started, a key component of ISIS’s support came from wealthy individuals in the Arab Gulf States of Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Sometimes the support came with the tacit nod of approval from those regimes; often, it took advantage of poor money laundering protections in those states, according to officials, experts, and leaders of the Syrian opposition, which is fighting ISIS as well as the regime.
“Everybody knows the money is going through Kuwait and that it’s coming from the Arab Gulf,” said Andrew Tabler, senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. “Kuwait’s banking system and its money changers have long been a huge problem because they are a major conduit for money to extremist groups in Syria and now Iraq.”
America's Allies Are Funding ISIS - The Daily Beast
BBC News - Saudi Arabia: Sandwiched by jihadists in Iraq and YemenBut a recent US study found that in Isis's surprisingly well-documented records, less than 5% of its funding has come from overseas donations.
Instead, the majority has come from local extortion, kidnapping and unofficial "taxes" imposed on the areas it controls in Syria and Iraq. Since June it also has access to over $420m (£244m) in cash looted from Mosul's banks.
Last week they changed name again, does it mean organisation is different? Same org as in 2000, when Saddam when hunting for them, but offcourse baathists now run the show.
It's an Iraqi Minister (SHIA!) who himself admits that ISIS is led by former Iraqi Ba'athist's.
You did not answer my question. What is your reason for supporting ISIS
It's ILLUMINATI. In this KAUST UNI opening Video on Sep 5, 2009 you can clearly see the logo prototype of IF on 3:54. That was way b4 the Syrian revolution. You can even see the king and Al-asshead conspiring to creat the IF on 6:54.So the Khameini conspiracy theory that Saudi-Qatar fund IS-Qaeda is quite retarted isn't it?
