ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) in order to provide novel recreational facility to residents of Islamabad purchased 24 models of dinosaurs at cost of Rs39.93 Million in 2009.

These models of dinosaurs were different in size. Unfortunately proper venue of their installation could not be located.

Chairman CDA Nadeem Hassan Asif took keen interest in installation of these models of dinosaurs at a place where they can be source of attraction and recreation for maximum number of people.

Marghazar Zoo was identified and finalized as best available venue for installation of these dinosaur models.

For repair and shifting of these dinosaur models from Ankara Park to Marghazar Zoo, Capital Development Authority (CDA) awarded contract at cost of Rs1.346 million and 3 months time was for completion of the contract.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) held inaugural ceremony after installation of dinosaur models at Marghazar Zoo this afternoon at Dino Park at Marghzar Zoo. (PPI)
