ISI tried many times to create more Pakistans in India, from Khalistan to 26/11, but failed each time. Modi is a decisive character, to be sure, but India is stronger than the sum of its parts. Incredible how a multi-ethnic, multi-religious, polymath nation has survived nearly 75 years of independence. I think it has to with the federal nature of the government.

India is very much run like a Federal State akin to US, the fault lines in India are very visible. There is a large demography of Indians around my city and North Indians vs South Indians is very much a real thing.

No they didnt. Khalistan ended within less than 10 years after BB handed over all intel.
