Is Turkey the Punching Bag?

There is still four years until 2023 which is plenty of time for the next set of conditions to be put in place whether they be on paper or “off the record” - that’s if you believe in that sort of stuff...
Well, it seems some powers will try to strangulate Turkish economy to renew these terms for next few decades.

You haven’t shut down Bosporus nor Incirlic and we still support sdf and control Manbij. What does it tell you? Walking away from West is not an option. Especially if East has nothing to offer
This. And the world will only become more and more globalized. That means more dependency among nations.

And lets not forget it, USA brought Erdogan to our country. USA through FETO created AKP.

Erdogan himself was an American spy with the only goal of servicing USA. I dont know what he is today and that is not very important. The nation is paying the price of all the policies AKP followed post-2002.

This FX crisis is not due to the big fat orange monkey putting small tariffs on small industries we have.

They are due to the concrete economy and population boom Erdogan created and now there is no production in the country for all thesd tens of millions of people, and as a result our currency is crashing.

Mate, both the east and the west are cunts in one way or another. We need to look up - oh wait Erdy does that every 2 mins, and look where we are...

.
Turkey also must release its 3 + million refugees to Europe. Immediately.

Not working anymore. Border on all balkan countries is closed. They would be stuck in bosnia. Even Erdogan knows this. He had the chance to do this before the border lock down. Migrants even swim back from Greece to Turkey now.

You appear more and more desperate evry day.

. . .
Turkey stops nato support to iraq ans pakistan does the same....start sniping hillbilly troops. Kill a dozen a day watch how quickly they go home...the west cant stand casualties but it loves to kill

The problem I have with radical secular nationalist Turks (or any other race) is that you assume everyone is your enemy. You need to calm down and relax.

Both @HAIDER and I are Pakistanis, so you can't except us to everything about your history as a native Turk would. Also expect that we would be informed from Turks of differing political views than you. Our main sources of information are in English, (NYT, BBC,etc.) which may be eschewed owing to Western propaganda, and Urdu talk shows like Mubashir Luqman, Dr. Shahid Masood, Harf e Raaz, Khabarnaak.

No that did NOT happen! The only one who blamed any forefather for lost islands was Erdogan himself and he blamed İnönü, not Atatürk! Literally no one blamed Atatürk for the islands! Hell there is official scripture from early 19s where Atatürk himself bashed İnönü for failing to secure the aegean islands!

I have been hearing this for a while. Some members of MHP were claiming that Erdogan insulted Ataturk. I don't know too much about Turkish history or your political parties as I am learning.

I see that İnönü was the successor of Atatürk and negotiated the treaty before that time.

Your previous post about Erdogan insulting founding fathers seemed to imply to me that you were talking about Atatürk also.

So you 'didnt' know at all yet you still wrote 'I know'! That is called a lie! One that would provoke Turks here and you knew it too!

And for that reported for provoking Turks with obvious lies and misinformation!

As stated above, there are some Turks with that view. Erdogan has always been unpopular among Turkish ultra-seculars. He is not a secular leader.

Its not an obvious lie, because I don't know your internal politics and details. You can't really expect me to know your personal views on the matter. Also you are accusing me and @HAIDER of malicious intent which is a giant jump to make.

These are not real too! Where the fvck do you even get these infos from huh?? There is no such clause in the agreement like 'oil exploration'! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT?? WHAT LIMITATION?? STOP TAKING YOUR LIES OUT OF YOUR @SS AND SHOW ME THE SOURCES!

SOURCE! WHAT TRANSIT FEE? WHAT OIL EXPLORATION AND WHERE EXACTLY??

...the conference recognized Turkish sovereignty over the straits, although there were some concessions in the form of a demilitarized zone and an international commission to supervise transit through the straits.

“And this happened in Lausanne, under our very noses. They took so much land away from us and, yet, some people found a reason to be proud of this. What were we, what have we become, what will we be? This is a very important question for us,” pointed out Erdogan.

“The Lausanne Treaty is not an indisputable text, it is not holy. Of course we will discuss it; we will attempt to find a better solution. They should not find a fault with us for we have given our word to the nation. We will dispute all stipulations (of the treaty),” added Erdogan.

So obviously there are some stipulations on Turkey's use of the straits and its military defense installations.

This Iraqi article here seems to be the main cause the confusion: https://rawabetcenter.com/en/?p=2571
He is a troll, just report him and it will be taken care of. Wish Kartal1 was a mod as Turks elected him so, such things wouldn't happen.

You guys need to stop throwing the word 'troll' around. These are large accusations, when there are actual racists and anti-Turkish personalities on this forum. You want any proof, go to one of the Uyghur threads.

Both @HAIDER and I are pro-Turkish and support the government of Turkey. It makes absolutely no sense to abuse us Pakistanis. Disagreement is fine, but keep it civil.

Otherwise what right do you have to condemn some of the Arab, Chinese nationalists who attack Turks in the same way.

I'm started to see a trend among Non-Pakistani users of PDF of having unhealthy views and jumping to attack other users. Remember, this is a Pakistani forum so obviously we don't spend all day reading Turkish, Chinese, Arab history/politics.

@Troll, your posts will be removed and you will banned for trolling, so i wouldn't waste my time if i was you.

This is what happens when you take the stance against America, and this is just a tiny reaction of what they did against others like Saddam, Gaddafi and attempted with Assad. 90% of the Muslim world is with America after all.

This. Not only that, US's plans was so obvious when they founded and supported Fethullah, PKK and other cemaat terror organisations in Turkey for 30-40 years. Yet we kept the military dependence on them. We should have go with J-31 instead of F35. We should have go with TUHP149 rather than T-70. I still remember when old defence minister said that "we produce critical parts, engines can be found everywhere" and now we are facing hard time to deliver T-129 and Altay because of the engines.

We are paying price of huge stupidity where East was hungry for investments in past, they are still open to Turkey but our government bugs behind the reality, still expecting US to stop punching us.

They will not stop punching us, it's US benefit to destroy Turkey and support PKK state o_O

Actually , when friends take every word as offense then better step back. I think we can t take side when two ideological classes exist , Kemalist and Islamist. But, we learn the bitter reality after Afghan war and some of our friends are learning ... that s all.

Turkey have done a lot of things hurt Chinese interest

But I think Chinese government will give a hand in the end, a stable turkey is in Asian countries interest

China is a nation eye in the future and stand on win-win

Don’t blame erdogan too much, it is not all his fault
Japan is loyal to USA, don’t forget what USA have done to Japan in the 80s of last century
USA is in deep debt crisis again ,it need some other countries to pay for them,I don’t think EU can flee away without paying significant USA fee

So friendly relations that Turkey harassed our oil rig near cyprus and threatened to kill italian sailors on it.

Spare me this bullshit. We are enemies.

http://en.protothema.gr/turkey-attempted-to-ram-italian-drill-ship-in-cyprus/

That said, i expect the ECB to build a firewall so the turkish economic collapse doesnt effect us.

Its also important that the EU makes sure no turkish poverty refugees get here. In retrospect blocking visa free travel for turks to EU was a wise decission. When their economy collapse, millions will try to escape.

I do wish Turkey actually open the flood gates for refugees to come to Europe. Too bad erdogan screwed it up because of his incompetence of trying to get EU money.

And that has been long reversed. And I asked you of those 'transit fees' you talked about. SOURCE!

Why are you even quoting Erdogan??? He didnt live in the 20's, he is post 2000! And these quotes dont even say anything in this subject!!

So obviously there are some stipulations on Turkey's use of the straits and its military defense installations.
What military defence installations?? Why do you keep jumping from claims to other off-topic claims???

I AM STILL WAITING FOR SOURCES ON LOUSANNE ABOUT YOUR SO CALLED 'TRANSIT FEES' AND 'OIL EXPLORATION!! GO ON EXPLAIN WHAT THEY ARE AND PROVIDE SOURCE FOR THEM TOO!

This Iraqi article here seems to be the main cause the confusion: https://rawabetcenter.com/en/?p=2571
Then next time dont believe everything you read on internet, and dont act like you know something when you dont, especially when confronted by people who are specifically educated on those subjects!

To be honest Europe always insults Turkey. So fck em. Erdogan is a retard its not like Europe has anything positive to say anything about us.
This is correct for most of the EU states (mostly central EU states such as France/Germany and small vassal states around them), but not for all.

Spain, Italy, UK, these are the countries that are not pleased of NAZI governments of Germany and surrounding vassals. That is why it's easier to cooperate with them. T-129 is probably the most successful defence program for us, after UAV programs. We should have go with TUHP-149 with italy, rather than T-70 with USA.

I know that there are also NAZI minded people in Italy, but they are pretty much minority in their own nation so they are not a huge headache for humans. They just bark in this forum twice a week and that's it.
