I know IK used to say that both MQM and PTI has urban support base etc. That was quite smart move and that actually did work to reach the silent undecided voter of MQM, who now voted for PTI,

But I personally never agreed with IK on this, just like I don't agree with some of his views about TTP terrorists. MQM is a terrorist mafia organization and has absolutely nothing common with PTI.

I won't be surprised if MQM starts supporting JI tomorrow to get to power.

coming back to the topic, well PTI might not have an organized and a proper hit squad or Armed wings an compared to other parties but am sure they do have some wannabes. who somehow have acquired weapons and now want to act cool. i would love to see these wannabes actually hit a bulls eye at 15m.

Sir we are living in Pakistan and we've seen what happened to Fatima Jinnah. This nation can't afford to loose IK now, who knows if we are going to have another chance or not in future. And there is an old saying, hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Even our Prophet (P.B.U.H) always had his sword ready at his home. Keeping a strong armed wing won't mean that PTI will be same like MQM, ANP, JI or N-League, weapon is not good or bad, its the man who operates that weapon. We are a nation of fuking bullies, where strong is pawning weak on daily basis and no one is there to stop him. To survive, you either become a bully yourself or buckle up to get bullied. Choice is yours.

Unless and until there's no complete and stable law and order situation, one must get hold onto the guns to safeguard themselves and there loved ones... not to use them but for self defence. It's after all a Sunnah too to keep weaponry ready at all times.
