MPA Shazia Aurangzeb has quit her party, the PML-N, and is likely to join the PPP. She isn’t the first one to do so. We’ve seen many politicians who live and breathe their party policies but are casually eased out with a change at the top and join a party they used to belch out fire against. Farid Toofan was one such politician. Then we have those who feel that they aren’t getting the importance they deserve or that the party they are with isn’t going to fare well in the next elections and join another one which they presume may do well. The names of Khwaja Hoti, Amir Muqam, Azam Swati come to mind.

What is this? Why does the parties’ leadership accept turncoats, who’ve been with so many others? These politicos and their bosses are surely not doing it out of their love for Pakistan. They simply want to feather their nest for their next generations. Make hay while the sun shines and keep duping the masses. After all, who cares

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the people of Pakistan will reject ‘thieves and looters’ in next general elections.

The Chief Minister was talking to parliamentarians belonged to various districts here on Saturday.

During the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif said that the ‘incompetent federal government’ has made a new record of corruption during the last four and a half years.

He said that Rs 70 billion were ‘robbed’ from Punjab Bank. He said that worst corruption was done in Bab e Pakistan project among other schemes.

Not at all.. unless every stakeholder is willing to work for common goal, which is Pak first. However i can't see that happening. Army would want to maintain their supremacy, so will the judiciary & the government. Opposition parties will play their politics of opportunism as usual.

Only If Imran khan came in to power economy will see rise, I think his policies are better than other Nawaz Zardari and MMQM Terrorists are Insane and Corrupt.
