Is An Assasination Of Leadership About To Happen In Pakistan!

Pakistan future shouldn't rely on one person. Real leader creates future leaders, to follows on his full steps. I hope Gen Raheel's vision and determination sinks through the military command and even when he retires, future leaders will carry on according to the plan.

Is the united states of America concerned enough to do something radical to destabilize Pakistan so that it does not emerge out of the chaos that it has been living in for the last many years.

It is for sure that the U S would not let go of Pakistan without giving it a fight---but would it go to the extent of assassinating the power base in Pakistan to make a point and keep Pakistan under control.

Khan Sahib, both USA and China have agreed to work together to continue to stabilize Pakistan, believe it or not.

Hi,

But the issue now is the emergence of a 3rd party---Russia----. Even though the Pakistanis are done with the drama of the united states---the U S is done with Pakistan---.

Sir, please rest assured that both USA and Pakistan will continue to rely on each other for mutual benefit. Neither Russia or CPEC projects will affect this fundamentally important bilateral relationship for the foreseeable future. What is more, both USA and China agree upon keeping Pakistan stable. There will be no such such upheaval, and even if they were to occur due to anything unforeseen, both will work together to quickly restore stability.

Hi,

Pakistan is going in the right direction as of now thru the direct role of pak military into managing and maintaining the country. As the things are getting better---should there be a concern that powers to be may want to create instability in the country and assassinate those who are in a position to make the difference.

Pakistan has also started talking to Russia---and possibly signing deals of interest---and General Raheel visiting Russia lately----would that create any issues in the western block. There is a general shift of Pakistan towards Russia as pakistan has gotten tired of the " blame game " and " do more " kind of rhetoric that the americans had been singing for a longtime time.

What carrot would Nawaz Sharif dangle in front of the americans asking for a favor to get rid of Gen Raheel and his team---.

Or what kind of promises would the americans make to Nawaz Sharif t get rid of Gen Raheel and his team on his coming visit the next month.

So---is there an assassination on the table----or is there a pack your bags kind of deal about to happen.

Last time someone put forward a theory like like this, Benazir Bhutto was assassinated.

Be careful for what you speculate.

@MastanKhan US was infatuated with Pakistan due to Pakistan's own antics as well...we can not discount that.

We called our nuclear bomb "Islamic bomb"...we engaged in nuclear proliferation.

We started a reckless war with India and then expected the US to come to our aid.

Albeit the Americans supported the jihadists against the Soviets...it was Pakistan which bestowed upon them the Godhood which was bound to ring some alarms later on.

The nation's immaturity and recklessness earned itself lack of respect and trust on a global level. The US was quite pro-Pakistan in the beginning and helped us a lot.

The case of the exploding mangoes is more of a KGB thing than the CIA...Zia was a total Arab/American lackey and a sycophant.

Hi,

There are so many major issues going on right now---. The people's party and graft issue----Altaf Hussein and raw and murder---and anti Pakistan stand----tussle between Nawaz and his cohorts and the military----so the thing is who is going to sell his service at what price against the state and wellbeing of Pakistan.

Each of these three has their necks spread out on the block---now---what are they going to promise to save their lives----and who is going to ay that price.

.
Not unless US is willing to see their time, blood and money wasted in Afghanistan and going to gutters (they were not there after OBL only and it is not possible they spent more than a decade to find OBL only) and assuming that Chinese will enjoy the show on sidelines when their strategic investment is at risk of destabilization, and there are signs of major shift between China - Russia relations. Gone are the days when someone alone could simply kill Army Chief and Air force Chief in a plane crash, a lot has changed and is changing on daily basis now.

People may blame Nawaz Sharif for many things but he has learnt from his mistakes a lot, he has realised that by sharing power he can still fulfill some of his dreams, there may have been some differences in the beginning but now Civilian government and Forces seem more like on the same page and respecting each other. NS himself is loyal to Pakistan's interests I will have to admit that. However, I cannot say that for sure for people like Zardari and Hussain Haqqani.

Further today if rangers openly can give a shut up call to people calling for strikes in Karachi, it is not just because Pakistan alone has managed it, someone in UK have also lent their support or may have withdrawn their support in our favor.

The real question in my view that we should be asking today is, why the hell Afghan Government, Afghan Taliban, ISIS are on the same page when it comes to Pakistan? ISIS is a sectarian terrorist organisation then why Pakistan should feel more threatened by its presence in Afghanistan than Iran? And how long we are going to take before we start ignoring Afghanistan and seal our borders?

Hi,

I am just making an as-s of myself over here----. The thing over here is that U S forced Musharraf to sign the deal to Singapore for the Gwadar port---and Singapore did nothing.

Now that Gwadar deal is done with the chinese----work in full progress----Russian influence slowly increasing in Pakistan---U S being slowly pushed because of their utterly stupid game plan---the americans are not going to take it lying down.

If the americans wanted the welfare of Pakistan---they would not have forced Benazir on Pakistan and after her death---they would not have forced Zardari on Pakistan either---.
i don't think amreekis are going to attempt something like that during these times what with middle east in more chaos than ever and ISIS on the rise...they might need an ally..

Surprisingly I had been thinking the same few days back. Americans have started to call and meet Nawaz a bit too much all of a sudden. I think they are throwing weight behind Nawaz so that he is not pushed around as he is right now. No matter what happens, it is a win win situation for powers to be. If there is coup or Nawaz removes Raheel, this current course will be lost. There has never been so much need for civil-military cohesion as there is now and PTI(I am a fan) should sit it and not create unnecessary petty issues for political scoring and advantages.

The bureaucracy in any country is formed by its military, democratic civilian leadership and business men. I do not understand why Pakistanis have a mindset of pitting Army against the democratic civilian leadership with the business man see saw between the two for their profit and survival..

Conspiracy theory mill in full swing it seems. Seriously why can't we be optimistic for once, instead of coming up with such negative thoughts. Jeez.

Hi,

My innocent young brother---this is a brutal world----. In real world---you take the worst case scenario and then build up on that----. If you prepare ahead of problems---you can fight them better.

I think Raheel Sharif is smarter than his predecessors when it comes to dealing with Americans. Plus we have a transactional relationship with Americans now, we do and they do. No more one way favors from either side. With new elections coming in America and stupids like Donald Trump coming to power, i would say, American's new foreign policy will make it toast in the 21st century. If god forbid Donald Trump comes to power, his foreign policy would be on the stupid level that of George Bush. he'd be pro-India and anti-Pakistan.

.
As an outsider, I don't think so. Just make sure this power sharing between the Civilian Govt and Military remains in place. Ensure stability and, most important of all, Education for each and every one. Get rid of the nonsense and it will be great for Pak.

Kids and their stories.

Pakistan is here today since both government and establishment are on same page. They both know this will only bring good both for their own image and Pakistan. This is first time when both are.

Yes US is unhappy, and they can target Raheel like they did to Zia. Remove NS willn't bring much effectiveness since it will only change the face from NS to SS reset will be same. They target BB since Musharaf was in power and zardari was their best bet.
