An interesting observation. It appears Pakistanis during Iron Age (Vedic times) were genetically closer to modern West Asians than modern Indians. The population genetics data I used are publicly available here. Make of it what you will.

South Asia consists of dozens of major ethnic groups.
This concept of India was created in 1947, it's a stupid concept which has never existed in history.

There are groupings in South Asia, and the Indus grouping known as Pakistan has always been distinctly different from the rest of South Asia, good to know more scitificfic evidence is coming out to show the truth.

as a Pakistani
don't care one bit, OP please make different threads, this is repetitive

This is very relevant to modern regional geopolitics.

India believes they are the origin of “native” Vedic culture and Islam is foreign and invasive. This kind of thinking is the primary motivator for violence against Muslims in subcontinent, and their occupation in Kashmir.

But hard science and genetics is proving the Vedic people of Pakistan were very genetically distant to modern Indians and that the foreign Vedic culture was brought to the Ganges by force, through killing, raping and enslavement (caste system) of local natives. It was as foreign as Islam, but extremely brutal and consequently left a bigger cultural imprint than any later invasion by other foreign culture.

Modern day Pakistanis are nothing like Injuns either.

Depends. People in Karachi are very similar to Northern Indians.

These samples are hardly close to anyone, look at those distance values

And are you sure you're doing this right? Pretty sure I've seen different values elsewhere

What's lungis got to do with it ?

anyway, I've had the pleasure of meeting a few (handful, really) Pakistani people/families who traveled to here for an an occasion once, Punjabis. very cultured lot, those guys.

and kasam se, apart from subtle nuances in how we talk, use of language.. bc bilkul unnis/bees ka bhi fark ni laga.

South Indians, and those from the east here share nothing with Pakistan.. much like Pushtoons and Baloch people are very different from any variety of Indian I suppose.

Lungis, meanwhile, are still searching for an identity.

There is no 2 way of doing this. It's just a single button in the software "calculate distance".
I'm surprised you remember values.. I don't, it's pointless remembering the numbers.

genetics and where your from shouldn't matter.

It shouldn't matter when you're going to college or getting a job, but a good understanding of 'who you are', from a scientific standpoint, is important else you're going to let your enemy determine your identity. Indians (brahmins) have convinced the world that South Asians don't have ethnic/racial differences, that everyone is Apu from The Simpsons, and the rest of us are doing nothing to fight back this narrative despite the fact that we have science on our side.

Mubarak ho! Has corruption, nepotism, intolerance, extremism and general malaise magically disappeared after discovering this revolutionary “difference”?

Have people become automatically honest and decent humans after discovering this stark genetic difference?

Have Pakistanis eliminated rape, murder and other crimes ?
Are they now suddenly all “one nation”?
Are they sending a probe to mars? The best in healthcare and education?

All it took was this genetic exceptionalism! Wah!

Quaid e Azam made a huge mistake of using two nation theory and religion - he should have just use this old iron age generics and those 75 years of a pathetic selfish existence by every generation of Pakistanis would have never occurred - Pakistan would be equal to ten South Koreas today.
