the US/Wahabi axis will forever be an enemy of Iraq no doubt about it, Iran is an ally of Iraq.. also no doubt about that, however Iran as an ally should not use Iraqi teritory to settle scores with the US because by doing that Iran would be putting their own ally in harms way just to protect thenselves, the recent missile strike was fine because thanks to that limited strike the entire reagion was spared from a grand Iran-US war plus no one died, however in the future Iran should not use Iraqi teritory to settle scores with the US, if they want to attack the US then they can always just fire those missiles towards US bases in Syria, Damascus would be more than happy if the US bases in Syria are targeted, this way everybody (except the US & the Syrian Kurds) would be happy.

Using Iraq for proxies and war is all they've been doing since 2003, and that is an act of war which removes the entire notion of an ally. The truth is Iraq has been weakened by all the wars, now we have little to pick. if it had its strength of 1990 then we would act against all these enemies and Soleimani would be blown up by us instead of America, in the end he has been nothing but an enemy. There is no room for people who switch allegiance of country depending on the ruling government.

Iran is a big cancer to Iraq in every way, may Allah Azza w Jal enable a far-right fascist Arab nationalist to grab power. Al-Asad is an Iraqi airbase on top of that, the army holds a massive presence there. Such attacks degrade the army, no one that recognizes that apparently, Iran should attack more targets in Iraq, let the hostility grow.

An expected symbolic move, the Iraqi goverment needs to show that the nation has "sovereignty", of which in reality it has none, not when you have foreign bases "illegally" on your territory.

Regardles, study of human bahavior tells us you cant fully trust someone you didnt raise yourself or whose personal history is unknown, a significant proportion of the Shia in Iraq has shown a capacity to be easily mobilized even against their own interests through a systemic digital media attack and some sharp power (money).

If there is to be a unified shia-islamic front, equal attention should be given both to 'raising' a new generation, the inner front, and to confronting external aggression, the outer front.
