Iranian 'Space Monkey' Was A Hoax "Reports"

In other words you cant prove that Mole Monkey is from 2011.

When I made a Google image search for Mole Monkey, all results were fresh. So again no proof.

Your arrows prove nothing since one image is before launch and another after alleged (?) landing.

You have repeated the same sentence in all of your sentence regarding this launch in every thread.
Sorry I am just reminding. That hardest thing about space is to achieve orbit velocity (7.9 km/s). Thats 25 times faster than revlover bullet!

While launching object to space is not a big deal, even schoolchildren can do it:

Balloons do not go up to 100 km high (called thermosphere) .

Do you know how a sounding rocket makes reentry and lands back on earth? Seems like it would be hard to land a sounding rocket (I know NASAs sounding rockets have landing systems) does Iran's sounding rocket appear to have landing gear or parachute deployment (is it possible to tell by exterior photo?. It seems like you would have to guide the rocket to water and retrieve it that way if no landing system exists. I am no expert when it comes to sounding rockets so if you can shed light on this that would be great.

As I suspected, in earlier thread, this is a joke, and nejad has a sense of humour.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just idiot Journalists in Iran using old pictures. I bet it is stupidity rather than duplicty, there are idiot/lazy journalists the world over.

Monkey aside, I do at least believe the launch wasn't a hoax as the Telegraph posits, because the risk of being called out on it would be too great. You can't hide a launch that is there, and you can't hide the fact that a launch isn't there.

First of all I'm appalled to see those people whose country doesn't know the differences btw a candle and a missile are underestimating Iran space program. pathetic ...

As far as I know :

Iran space agency unveiled some new achievements such as Kavoshgar 4 and a bio-capsul on February 7, 2011.

Several weeks later on March 12 2011 Iran launched Kavoshgar 4 into space which carried a monkey stuffed toy:

After all, some month later on September 2011 Iran attempted to send a real monkey to space which due to some technical problems it failed.

"The Kavoshgar-5 rocket carrying a capsule with a live animal (a monkey) was launched during Shahrivar," an Iranian calendar month spanning August 23 to September 22, Deputy Science Minister Mohammad Mehdinejad-Nouri was quoted as saying by the ISNA news agency. "However, the launch was not publicised as all of its anticipated objectives were not accomplished," Mehdinejad-Nouri told reporters.

I think by virtue of failure they didn't release any picture that's why it made it hard to compare and distinguish btw two launches. but surly news agencies like press tv and al-alam were present there to took photos in order to be used later on if launch would have succeeded ,one year later they used them as decorative pictures in their news which resulted to this confusion.

In order to bring object to 120 km u need to spend mgh J of energy.
In order to accelerate object to orbital speed (7.9 km/s) to need to spend mv^2/2 J of energy.

(mv^2/2)/mgh = v^2/2gh = 7.9*7.9*10^6 / 2*9.8*120*10^3=26.5

In addition for orbital launch u need to put it at least to 200 km.

So overall you need 28 times more powerful rocket to put such capsule to orbit. Similarly when you bring object back to earth the biggest problem is to quench the huge velocity. You need to quench 28 times more energy when you bring it back. Now you guys understand why I repeat all the time that its not orbital? Orbital launch is completely different story.

I think by virtue of failure they didn't release any picture that's why it made it hard to compare and distinguish btw two launches.
In other words your claim that Mole Monkey is from 2011 is only your assumption.

shame on mods, thread should be removed because it was proven to be false claim... :hitwall: even when they want to bash Iran, they can't even come up with a good one...

Iran gave them the finger many times... Iran said: F*** your sanctions:azn:
