Now I am using 12 mbits with my irancell 3G.

Here is farsi source about the maximum 136 mbits in Iran by irancell:

I believe what I see , and the coverage of Mobile networks or rubbish , i front of Mellat park you have good coverage then you go 500 meter north from there and you even don't have EDGE .
from Vali-E-Asr Square you walk toward Vanak square and you'll see more than 3 time you lose your connection .

EDGE is outdated, also rightel 3G is rubbish. Use irancell 3G I promise your lowest speed in Tehran will be 3~5 megabits. Believe me.

I have launched 20 megabits with my irancell even!

Some months ago I used rightel 3G and my speed was limited to 1 megabits, irancell is much better.

EDGE is outdated, also rightel 3G is rubbish. Use irancell 3G I promise your lowest speed in Tehran will be 3~5 megabits. Believe me.

in my city both Irancell and Rightel work pretty well .

but for rightel you have to increase your speed by giving them some sort of certificate proving you want it for research and so

i use rightel and except for its coverage , i'm actually satisfied with its speed .

its good for the times you have no access to your WIFI

I have heard out of Tehran rightel is very good, but in Tehran is not much good, at least these days.

That's a common problem. I am working inside the head office building of Canada's biggest service provider and there are blind spots everywhere. You get coverage on one tile and you loose it on another. It is not exclusive to Iran

I have given them the certification and have 1mb internet. the problem is that they are not consistent , it all depend on chance if you can get an acceptable connection
