Iranian hashish smuggling gang busted; 1 killed

One Iranian was killed and another wounded in an exchange of fire between Saudi coastguards and a boat containing drugs smugglers, a security official said.
He said the clash took place on Friday when the coastguards intercepted a vessel off the Eastern Province that was attempting to smuggle drugs into the Kingdom. The boat had three Iranians and a Saudi.

A spokesman for border guards in the province said one Iranian was killed and the other three suspects, including a wounded Iranian, were arrested.
He said their 552 kg of hashish was seized.

To hell with all drug smugglers. Drugs are horrible for society. Just look at Iran, Afghanistan and others. Especially heroin.

YZD, Hashish/Cannabis are soft drugs and should be legalized (at the same time using prevention campaigns against any kind of drugs).

It's actually working really good in Netherlands. Most people go to a coffeeshop if they want to use drugs. Yeah I heard a lot about doing drugs in the Netherlands. But the thing is that our social structure is in no way similar to them - I'm taking about both of Iran and KSA -

I don't think such an idea will work out at all.

the Brits and the Yanks created the British American tobacco company and banned the use of ganja even though hemp has so many other properties like to make clothing etc.

Why? because they know the cancer stick is a hard drug which gets u addicted unlike ganja so they can profit from it and make billions of $$ a year

Qat is the most mild stimulant/plant if any drug should be legalized. It is equal to a few cops of coffee or a energy drink.

The think is that organized drug dealers that smuggle such huge sums and live off it and put others in misery or death due to their addictions and ruin whole families deserve a severe punishment.

The laws are strict in KSA but we have one of the lowest crime rates despite being a hub of different ethnic groups from around the world.

522 kg is no small amount.

552kg is drug dealing its a hell of a amount! even in India this would land you behind bars and God forbid if u were caught in places like Thailand where u could face the death penalty

BTW the best hashish in the world is Manali cream which can be found in the north part of India near the mountains, I tried Moroccan black too that is decent quality also.
