US have seen live operations of IRGC in Iraq and of their subsidiary northern alliance in Afghanistan. After that, US army have nightmares, now US administration and it's soldier can't even think of going to go near IRGC.

As long as our politicians and generals sell their souls to one of the world's most regressive regimes (Saudi Arabia), cooperation with Iran will remain shaky. A China-Iran-Pakistan (and, dare I say, Russia?) alliance could really shake things up.
