This is not true.

Though the initial take over was by the students.

But without a direct order by the " supreme " mullah khomeini , the hostages would not have been held for over a year.

And without a direct order from the " supreme " mullah khamenei , this weird embassy " festival " celebrations , would have not gone on for the last 40 years.

And since this " hate festival " clearly does not benefit the Iranian people , one may ask why do the mullahs still want to indulge in it , after 40 years ?

I think the answer yo that is clear. It is the habit of such dictators , to divert attention from themselves by pointing to outside enemies.

They are afraid that one day the Iranian people would wake up and realize that the real enemies , the one that really rob the freedom from the Iranian people , are those " supreme " mullahs themselves. .

You don't know Iran & Iranians ...neither the supreme leader nor Iranian people hate anyone esp americans we just can't live with wrong policies of the american towards our country .. if they change we would welcome it instantly like what happened under JCPoA .. there were direct negotiations and talks btw Iranian and their american counterparts even we had a direct line between 2 countries back in 2016 which helped to solve many issues like american military boats crossing Iranian territorial water which was addressed just in one day .. even we negotiated with current administration back in 2017 what happened to that? nothing american hit under table and in this bibi was involved too ...
The problem ain't hate the problem is one side wanna force itself upon another side ...the american even are not courteous towards their #1 allies in the region calling them milky cow and ask them to pay more .. so dealing with such arrogant headcases people (politicians) is called defending a country not hatred ..
Moreover it can not possible to blame Khameni or Khmoeni whom were both exiled by a tyrannical dictator under american support whom was initially reinstalled after a military coup out siting first elected democratic government of Iran "Mosadegh" ...maybe my generation read about american history and actions but they lived it .. but thanks to american all Iranian generations experience it now.

but it is nice to see opposition to yankee imperialism. There is a long list of reasons why I think it is good to stand up to US imperialism (I live here, yes, but I was born here and I'm here doing studies).

I'm 1000% with you folk on being against the US imperialism. I just wish Iran would quit backing the Houthis and join Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaat (and also not back the other Shia groups).

I agree with you that what happened with "Mosadegh" was wrong. But that was almost 70 years ago. Different administration and a different world. There is a time limit on how long you can cling to that as an excuse.

It is for sure not the reason why Iran is a dictatorship today .No outside force can be blamed for that.

Today and for the last 40 years , those who are responsible for the fact Iran is an even worse " tyrannical dictatorship " than in the times of the Shah , are those two people who have been ruling Iran for the last 40 years. The " supreme " mullah khomeini , and the " supreme " mullah khamenei .

I don't understand how you can say that those two can not be blamed for everything that takes place in Iran.

Some lovely touches there,I especially liked the first pic with the vultures claws full of syringes and the isis flag in the post apocalyptic "statue of liberty" scene,very clever.
If it was me I would`ve "decorated" the urinals in the public toilets with upside down american flags,sort of like this one except upside down[a sign of distress]

Or maybe a Trump toilet or Troilet.

This is not right to disrespect the US Flag, if you don't like Trump.
