Iran to send more military advisors to Syria

Iran will dispatch more military advisors to Syria to support the Syrian army and government in their fight against terrorist groups, a senior Iranian military commander was quoted as saying by Press TV on Tuesday.

Iran would deploy more "as long as there is a need" for advisory support, Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said.

"There is close coordination between the Syrian Army and the IRGC advisors," and Damascus is in coordination and unison with Tehran, Pakpour said.

"We have advisors in Syria in various areas such as strategic, technical and specialized (sectors)," he added.

Iran cannot stand indifferent and watch the enemies of Syria hatch plots to destroy a country that is at the forefront of resistance, the report quoted Pakpour as saying.

The commander's remarks came after Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri and his visiting Syrian counterpart General Ali Abdullah Ayoub denounced on Monday the recent Israeli and U.S. strikes on Syria and vowed to boost cooperation in the face of threats.

I may be wrong, but IMO this is how the game warms up as you steadily go to higher levels as per John Nash's theory. Hopefully, a strong Pak presence would work a deterrent...

Pakistan is against USA intervention in Syria. The statement was given at Moscow security meeting and US missile strikes were condemned by Pakistan.

things are very complicated between KSA and IRAN. no matter how hard Pakistan try, one of them will find some excuse or ego [incase they find no excuse] to back-off and suspend dialogues.

the Current refusal of Iran from Joining Alliance was an example. Pakistan work hard, Convinced KSA to accept IRAN and KSA agreed. But IRAN refused. maybe next time IRAN will agree to something but KSA will refuse.

So i think [keeping this in mind] Pakistan will stay away from both KSA and IRAN's internal issues. and maybe it's the best thing to do.

Through General Raheel Sharif, the Saudi alliance has the entire Pakistan military force at its disposal.

Plus the revenge of 10 dead Irani border guards have been taken by Iran as well. Iran just beheaded two Indian soldiers at LOC, because Indian supported proxie Jundallah was responsible for killing the Irani border Guard and Revolutionary Guard of Iran beheaded the Indian solders as a revenge.
