Iran sends 2nd monkey into space, returns it safely

. .
Really? to talk science? ok, what was the purpose in sending monkey for the second time.

sending monkey into space has nothing to do with manned space flight, it is covered ballistic missile program, only monkeys will cheer for sanding monkey not even in orbit.

russia us and china all of them sent monkeys to space before sending human .here is the use!

come on man! it is more than 15 years that iran have achieved the Technology of making a missile with range of 1500km that can be able to hit it's enemy .and we don't need a military missile with range of more than 2000km cuz it ain't worth it for a country that has signed the npt and has no nuclear weapon.only bigger systems for space use.

by the way don't compare iran with israel.israel has not signed the npt .israel has 400 nuclear weapons and working on ICBMs.if your country loves to destroy all of the world with so much nuclear weapons we are not so.iran had not begun a war since 300 years ago and never begins in the future.how about israel? one? two?how many wars?

Iranians need to stop playing with monkeys. Their rocket is tiny and incapable to send anything more than a monkey to spce. Please come up with a bigger rocket and then consider yourself a major player of the space arena. Iranian space program is still in infancy.

"On June 14, 1949, in a U.S.-launched V2, after the failure of the original Albert's mission on ascent. Albert I reached only 30–39 miles (48–63 km) altitude; Albert II reached about 83 miles (134 km). Albert II died on impact after a parachute failure. Numerous monkeys of several species were flown by the U.S. in the 1950s and 1960s. Monkeys were implanted with sensors to measure vital signs, and many were under anesthesia during launch. The death rate among monkeys at this stage was very high: about two-thirds of monkeys launched in 1940s and 1950s died on missions or soon after landing." Wikipedia

Good, so we are only 64 years lagging behind the U.S.

Technically we won the space race years ago. You see, the Americans faked the whole moon landing story while khomaini's picture was hacked on the surface of the moon more than 3 decades ago.

We win, they lose.

Argue with that logic if you can.

if iran didnt take that step then it would be more than 64 yrs behind.

no one became a space power over night.

Dude, You are talking about us technology in 1949 and we are still in 1392, technically we are (2014-1392)-64=558 years ahead of USA.

You should be happy that you guys are officially using the Islamic year. If you used the Iranian one, it would look really, really bad (Zarathustra 3754, Iranian 2574) :D
