Iran-India strategic syndicate

Actually I believe that when "King" Salman dies, there will be a civil war in Saudi family. MBS will be one faction, but other factions will fight against him. In the turmoil of this civil war, promised Mahdi whose name is Muhammad or Ahmad son of Abd Allah will take refuge in Mecca, where he will be recognized as the Mahdi, people will give him Bay'a in the shade of the sacred Ka'ba. Then an army from the northern direction, maybe a Saudi army or Syrians, will attack but that army will be decimated. All of this will happen very soon. "King" Salman is very old and will die soon.
You are right,
But King Salman's poor health condition tells us that within few years he will be no more among us...
The Appearance of promised Messiah is a big topic, if you want to discuss about this matter than please start a new thread first...... i shall be here 24/7 to discuss about this thread

Dont know about it, but its no different I suppose to Pakistan letting militants groups crossing into Iran to kill Iranian border guards then fleeing back to Pakistan territory.
we helped them and acted agains those militants. IRAN never supported us against those iranian backed terrorists being used in syria and are returning back with sectarian conflict as a gift.

i too think similarly.
i think US dont want to divide syria or iraq. They plan to make iranian block stronger and start a sectarian conflict in the region. They invaded iraq and thown away anti iran forces. They started a war in syria to let iran come there.
Its a big game plan against both shia and sunni muslims and i think so far they are winning. Divide them and let them fight a war with no end.

The member countries man. Iran is still a member country in UN. What makes you think UN don't care about Iran.
UN cares only for non muslims countries. look at the last time UN did anything for a mulism country. what coblers.

Maybe, or maybe not. ME is still influential in UN. And Iran is influential in the ME too.

Iran’s connection to India dates back to its fold into the Russian bloc in 79. As such, Iran is now Russia’s proxy much as the GCC arabs are of the USA.
But the likely reality is that there really isn’t a side- at least not for a country like Pakistan which at the end has a much greater importance for a variety of reasons that belie its appreciably smaller size.
There are sides in certain issues, but these change overnight. There are certain key realities and benefits that each relationship has as well.

As an example, while a good relationship with Iran offers us a secure border and great influence in Afghanistan; Iran is also a direct competitor for trade routes going to central asia- in many cases it has better offerrings versus the line going through China onto us via CPEC(unless we find kne excuse or the other to annex the wakhan corridor.. which was a plan to be done slowly until those taliban goats would not get rid of people like OBL).
Additionally, due to its current world pariah status Iran needs all the revenue and connections it can get and a billion Indians with a higher number of business investors is ALWAYS going to get preference- (anaozubillah the principles of Islam and Haq be damned to toilet paper status as far as leadership in any muslim majority country is concerned ) not just in Iran but in other places as well.

On the other hand, we maintain an influence in Saudi not just because of the holy cities but due to the support that we get from the House of Saud and vice versa especially during critial times. But there are always informed, bought or ill-informed influences in both relationships that drag them positive or negative. Be it money for the GCC folks or Iranians, or embassy buyouts or pure sectarian allegiance, and at times jusy being complete ignorant idiots like in our parliament

Another example is the relationship with the US- the US military relies on us not just for intelligence but for certain joint operations, yet you will never hear of it because any official hulabullo will have our generally ignorant population and mullahs(both online and offline) in a uproar.

You don’t see the same wrangling with many of the central asian republics because they don’t present a strategic option as such in these current times.
Although right now OBOR isn’t just making the US nervous but Russia too as the central republics are being heavily influenced by the Chinese.

To sum it up, there isn’t really a side for Pakistan to take except Pakistan’s side.
If it means sucking up to the Americans now to live another day.. yes.. by all means. If it means smiling with the Iranians today but letting the Saudis gather intelligence from border posts.. yes so be it. If it means talking to Iran on getting the pipeline going quietly but sabotaging chahbahar.. yes so be ut.
If it means abstaining from the Yemen conflict publicly so later on we are begged for training and assistance later by the GCC.. yes so be it. If it means letting the Iranians know of the movement of ships around the horn in exchange for Yadhav.. so be it.

If it means getting the Heera Mandi girls involved in honey traps, training them and encouraging the industry to provide agents.. so be it!

If it means letting HS take the heat so that our finances survive tomorrow.. so be it!

If it means letting twenty militants across into India to massacre some of their officers in return for civilian casualties.. so be it!

If it means looking the other way at anti Kabul government elements as they cross the border because what sits in Kabul is more hostile than India.. so BE IT!

If it means getting diplomats and attaches in India talk about CBMs and some calm even as we expend ammunition and look to take their heads off.. SO BE IT!

We are not alone in actions like these or facing multiple fronts like these.

The side that matters is Pakistan.. and while everyone here claims to be on its side, only 2/3rd or so are actually sincere in it and only 1/5th of those 2/3rd actually make decisions that work in Pakistan’s favor because we don’t have the best and brightest sitting at the helms.
