Well, there you have it guys... We drew with Portugal... But it wasn't enough. I'm very proud of our kids... They overcame so many obstacles... But you can only go so far on sheer will power... Other things need to be in place as well... Quieroz is really a world class and fantastic coach and really did a great job... He really organized the team tactically, got rid of the prima donna players and made a team out 11 individuals... But in the end it came down to personal technique, ball handling abilities and just superior finishing... And that's not something a national coach with limited access to the players can develop. I'm afraid we've seen the limits of our abilities under the current circumstances. We will never advance beyond our current performance as long as we don't have a proper professional league. And that will never happen as long as they can't benefit from the lifeblood of professional spots, ie broadcast income. And that will never happen as long as the government blocks free broadcast media for political reasons. So as usual, our problems are all tied together at the root...

Morocco also well done. When it was 2-1 for morocco i was hoping for a miracle (3-1)..

Beiranvand saved a penalty from Ronaldo. After the game against Spain I said he deserves a contract from a European club. He's really good.

Sardar Azmoun should have been changed after the first half.
