SAMAA’s investigation has revealed that establishment played a proactive role to break the political deadlock and persuaded PTI to resume talks at the request of government.

Imran Khan told army chief that he cannot trust Nawaz Sharif. On this army chief said that he would become a guarantor for any possible agreement.

According to sources, establishment’s figures approached the PTI and offered their role to end the deadlock. PTI demanded that government formally announce army’s mediation role. It was agreed that government would make it public.

Later, Chaudhry Nisar told two journalists that army was requested to facilitate thetalks between government and PTI.

PTI was again invited for talks, which put forward a condition that Tehreek-e-Innsaf will only meet army chief General Raheel Sharif.

General Raheel Sharif told Imran Khan that he was requested by the government to play the role of a mediator. Khan said that it was difficult for him to trust Nawaz Sharif.

General Raheel Sharif suggested Imran Khan to continue talks with the government and that that he would become a guarantor. However, the next day, government backtracked amid strong criticism from Khursheed Shah, Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Maulana Fazlur Rehman. This forced ISPR to confirm that army was asked by the government to facilitate talks.

Owing to the new developments, talks were hit with another deadlock. To avoid the situation from getting worse, Khawaja Saad had to admit that government requested the army to facilitate negotiations.

Government again invited PTI team to Convention Center where four monitors of the establishment were also present. According to the PTI, they were invited by the government. – SAMAA

Exposes PMLN and their lies. First they invited army to break the dead lock latter Nawaz lied on the floor. Nawaz isnt serious in negotiations either, he is just buying time. Army will have to make the final call.

Doesn't that actually expose N-govt more than PTI? lol
