nice to see that our too old subs are also very capable. When scorpene will come in, It will be a game changer. Scorpene with AIP shall be a real A** kicker.
No doubt that 2 Chinese subs were successfully spied upon by Kilo class and those dumb chinese subs could not know that they are being spied by Indians.

hardly old bhai, It says we got it in 1990 and retrofit from 2006-2015 and lost a decade so around 15 years old BUT all analog systems are now digital systems. Also Submariner said India had operated boats for almost 37 years old too in the past so he sees sureshot 15-20 years with so much massive upgrades as if its brand new...

That is true but platform is old. You can not afford to dive it 500 M. I do not know how much quite it is but it must be a lot quite.

BTW recently Russia new Kilo Rostov on Don fired the kalibr LACM salvo few days ago (dec7). 6 tubes fired 6 missiles and then reloaded.

That which the anchor called a stored antenna (that's what I heard) is actually a
Buoyant Wire Antenna if I am not wrong.
