Anyone else notice the Ship's fleet protection unit wearing the Universal Combat Pattern in the above pics? Previously seen IN's MARCOs, Divers and SPB wearing this, seems it has been adopted for all tactical roles in the IN.

Actually they do land on ships. It is just that IN didn't induct more.

Please check any video of IN. HAL Dhruv is shown at least landing once on any frigate.

Landing on ships is irrelevant- even the INS Vikramditya had the ALHs of INSAS 322 land on her. But no ALHs are EMBARKED on any IN vessel as part of its integral air wing. The initial issues with the N-ALH have never been rectified (automatically folding rotor blades, folding tail rotor, endurance etc)

Hard to tell because of the obstructions. Definitely not the Sterling- AK possibly?
