INS Arihant sails out of harbour

Special design for SLBM storage .
Thanks for this picture . Perfect . And why we ordered only 2 Kolkata destroyer ? And am aware of 6 stealth guided missile destroyer . But still

How, without hitting the sea trial?
This was not sea trail but depth testing trails before it start it's voyage out if the dock.

Go and fool others.
I may not be the right candidate for you.
Sub's max (depth) endurance testing comes at last stage.

. .
depth trial already done ......max depth test done .... its might started its voyage ...but for public its sea trial.....

Says who?
Bring some literature to corroborate your claim.

Arihant will be taken for a series of high-speed runs during the sea acceptance trials and its various components will be tested at different depths, temperatures and pressure.

The final phase of the trials will include weapon trials. During these trials actual firing of submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM) will take place from the platform.

Will the Indian media stop giving a live commentary on INS Arihant's sea trails - they are in a way compromising national security I suppose. This all has to be done quietly! :coffee:
When our boat is going to do surface sprint race then every one will see. Nothing to be paranoid about it mate. When it goes on silent run even normal navy guys wouldn't know it, forget newspaper and media.

Arihant is already tested at very deep in sea at around 500 meter and it worked perfectly well. We may expeact harbour trial to be trouble free.
Harbour trail was finished almost a year back. Since last 8 months or so our boat was doing silent deep submerging trial. Went well below normal crush depth. Sea trial is ongoing, it is just for some transparency purpose while keeping the secret away from spies. You don't know that enemy is trying full might to infiltrate the security network of SBC intently. How much is at stake only few know it and this news byte is that tool which our agency employes when under extreme threat.

look at the Masts, those ripple effect made only when submarines goes below the crushing dept means below 1% of crushing depth).

hull is made of Titanium , thats why no pressure effect on that. Masts is made alloy.

B) See the Rust signage , it happens only when Sub made to and fro and very frequently.

Man you stop right here, before you would be declared a laughing stock.

The hull is HY-80 steel = 80 atmosphere of endurance.

India does not have capability to forge Titanium hull.
Besides its damn expensive to begin with.

Please stop your crap right here.

.
I always thought this line of Arihant class will be converted into SSNs in future. But this news about a new line of SSNs is much better.
It will be converted into SSGN capable of LACM capability.

stop your craps, India made SU 30 MKI frame from titanium blocks, which brought from Russia.....and SU-30 is made if Titanium mostly....

one more thing, Russian uses Titanium alloy in their sub from 70's.... its old technology.

In late December 1995 it was reported that DRDO had made considerable progress in the fabrication of the pre-test capsule (PTC) was fabricated in 1994 at Hazira in Gujarat. From there it was transported to Kalpakkam. The PTC will fabricated into the final shell is reported to be made of titanium steel and has a hull diameter of 10 meters.
