Imo experience, Sindhis are quite a dark lot. This may be because they are mixed to Siddi from Africa.

Well we're pretty dark, and proud of it. It's all about personal preferences.

Punjabis/Sikhs have the lightest skin of all South Asians west of Pakistan and south of Kashmir. Do Sikhs intermarry with other ethnicities in India? Do you think Sikhs will remain the way they are a thousand years from now? Maybe by then Indians will become one ethnicity that looks halfway between a Tamil and a Sikh? No they are going to go extinct from alcoholism and drugs

No because skin colour exists on a gradient not either or. Also South Indians are in majority so a mixing will skew the colour of the population towards black instead of towards a fairer brown.

I've heard of North Indians being referred to as the "caucasians of India" on this forum, they are so obsessed with color! Honestly most Punjabis look like bog standard asians, just another pradeep walking down the street (no racial). Every ethnic group is difference, Allah tala made us different.
