It already has a small radar cross section from front not showing engine blades.

Jf17 is an evidence of China Pakistani collaboration and J31 or another stealth variant would have similar technological sharing between both countries as well for next generation planes and export versions.

Also dont underestimate Jf17 only minor changes are necessary like external weapon boxes and inlets already look fine and sleek. You dont need a structural change like V tail. Just ram material or paint application on the body. Rafale that many others opt for because of stealthiness has vertical tail.

In my opinion PAF should not give up upgrade of JF-17s while waiting for the options to choose a proper 5th candidate （FC-31、TFX、etc）. There are several things that could be done on the JF-17 platform.
1, AESA radar
2, Use more composite material
3, Think about a more powerful engine with thrust vectoring, e.g. WS-13 with AVEN nozzle

The best thing to work with China would be that the weapons, sensors or whatever new subsystem applicable can be transferred from J-10 and J-20 platforms.

Pakistan should develope JFT into Super Thunder like Super hornet to Advance Super Hornet or F-15 Eagle to Silent Eagle evolution.

Stealthy is Silent Eagle and from front head on engagement Raptor will not find it easily even in WVR engagement, that's called stealthy.
