China produces all things, from the highest end to the lowest end.

If Indian businessmen say "give us the cheapest option available" then that's what they'll get.

Now the question is, how much are the Indian businessmen (middlemen) pocketing on the low end stuff? They order the cheapest available, and sell to the Indian consumer at a much higher price.

What more association you need? India and China are already doing enough trade that's more than Pakistan's overall trade volume. Secondly nobody would have invested in China if they had believed in ur so called version of "association".

Small countries might need it. But large countries dont. China, Japan didnt need associations to develop. The only comparable example is EU and nothing more. We dont like cheap chinese goods engulfing us...

Once CPEC is started, it will be too late. Now is the time to join the bandwagon. It is simple as that.

As for bending, India is already bending as it is to accommodate Chinese products over Indian products because Chinese products are cheaper to afford. It is more China is milking India to dry which that money is sent for CPEC.

Whereas for Pakistan, it is investment which benefits Pakistan and China altogether. Now more are joining in because they don't wanna be left alone like India.

Modi is probably the best thing happened to Pakistan. First, Nehru pushed to trigger the creation of Pakistan. Now Modi is putting Pakistan on the map with his so-called isolation tactics.

No the commies are so desperate not to let India on board this wagon: knowing that India is emotive regarding CPEC so by insisting to get India in OBOR will only push India away further which fulfill our expectation.

Since Indian manufacturing is in a nascent stage compared to China, OBOR will be detrimental to domestic market as it will be flooded with cheap chinese products, rendering Indian manufacturing noncompetitive. Indian government should enforce protectionist measure to take advantage of the huge population and growing middle class.

Thats the idea, they need a big market to push their goods and only one nearby is India. Given that pakistan is not a big player to recoup their investment they certainly need to rope in India. If India stays away from OBOR then china needs to screw other countries to get back their investment.
