I always wonder at the compromize made to not allow indian muslims to be part of ottoman empire

Indian subcontinent was the largest suppliers of slaves to Ottoman empire and here we see the progression of same mentality. Because while the British colonialism let the subject exercise their free will, the Ottomans were on the forefront of creating fanatically loyalist slaves by Islamic brain washing which resulted in wide-spread pro Ottoman sentiments - even when they were against individual and nationalistic interests. Save Khilafat movement by subcontinent muslims can perhaps be cited as the biggest testimony of mental slavery towards Ottomans enacted by means of religion.
