Some former Peshawar Base Commander decided to scrap it.

You are missing a few others. In 1959 PAF shot a Canberra which was on a spy mission during peace time on eid day. In April 1965 before the war, PAF made an Ouragan force land nearly intact.

The Navigator of the Canberra was lucky to have escaped alive as it's been documented that there's no ejection seat for the Navigator in IAF Canberra.

Picture below will give you an idea of some stark realities, this is just ONE group of IAF Sikh pilots shot down by PAF and PA, gathered in one POW camp alone,now we all know Sikhs don't represent a majority in the Indian armed forces, so leaves little to imagination how many Hindus , Muslim or Christian pilots of IAF would have been POW....most of them would be in other POW camps. and these don't include those shot down over India and Indian MOD admitted that most air battles took place over India.

They are most welcome in Pakistan along with their aircraft. Their regular presence in our dining halls gives us immense pleasure. May Allah give us strength to accommodate all of them .AMEEN
