Indian perspective: Iran backstabs India

But we have to recognize that US CAATSA sanction policy and pressure on India was a god send opportunity.

India wanted to trade through Iran.

US wanted India to trade through Pakistan.

Pakistan did not want India to trade through either Pakistan or Iran.

In the end Pakistan won while both India and US lost.

They are licking their wounds today. The Western world has comprehensively lost in this and other regions of the world. Modi has destroyed Indian standing in the region. From Nepal to Iran. China and Pakistan were already imaginary enemies. All to please daddy USA. No doubt about it. Good days are ahead for the new bloc. Got to work closely and smartly.

When you are losing you make more big mistakes.

Even today US is fighting with EU, Russia, India, Japan & South Korea even as they are losing their Super power status to China.

US is losing friends and allies at light speed.

US needs support of allies to confront China but they are still stuck in their 1990s mentality of being the only super power of the world.

. . . .
The Indians will lose the whole of West Asia, Central Asia and the Caucasus to China by losing Iran in the next few years...

They had already lost it through Pakistan. Iran did the absolute right thing here. A backstabbing chameleon like India that hates Muslims and other minorities got put in its rightful place. India is not a friend of any nation. It is a hooker that serves everyone. Appease everyone until it is time to backstab and ditch.

Anyone can see that Iran's move to drop India from important national projects isn't motivated by any sort of overt anti-Indian sentiment. This was simply a shrewd geopolitical strategy shift motivated by clear economical intentions given India's own inactions and fear of American sanctions.

I hope Indians do not take this political action by Iran personally but I do think a lot of the finer details will get lost in translation...

I wonder what will happen if oil start to trade in some other currency than USD , how much it will effect US economy ?
In short term? Not much.

Iran has been doing that for years. It hasn't changed much. I think Iraq during the Saddam era tried it too.

The US currently holds enough power over energy resources of the world to keep its currency in demand. Saudi Arabia and her minions in the Persian Gulf region, Canada and the US itself control a lot of oil resources and production in the world.

However, if one day the demand for the US dollar drops suddenly and the US loses its absolute super power status, the US might run into hyperinflation as it has a huge foreign debt. But one might also add that a devalued dollar will boost the US production and they might be able to weather the storm by exporting more goods in return for their foreign debt.

LOL stop the BS enemy. India backstabbed Iran at the behest of your country the US. India is your cheerleader. Hence India also stopped buying Iranian oil.

Iran is smart. India is nothing without US and Western support. China is selfmade. It is easy to pick a side. China all the way.

What you and your lackey India are witnessing here today is a new regional economic bloc being formed. No doubt that China is the glue of this region that will unite all nations except lapdogs like India. India is getting more and more isolated in the region. It is a another Israel in the making that has to constantly fear for its well-being. Not because it is a victim or righteous, but because it is a pooch of the USA.

Boy oh boy. Indian rats are sweating like pigs.

The US deep state is in tatters. All US plans can be thrown in the dustbin. No wonder American officials have to beg and plead to Pakistanis to oppose CPEC LOL The American suckers knew long ago what was coming.

Obviously we are on PDF and Pakistanis love to pick on India, but the truth is that we didn't ditch India because of China. We ditched them because they couldn't deliver what they had promised to do and they weren't importing enough goods from us. So, they had become quite useless for us and it was a good time to ditch them.

In the past, we have done the same with the Chinese too. In fact more than once. The Chinese were put aside from the South Pars project during Ahmadinejad's presidency after they had become too slow in fear of possible US sanctions. They were also ditched from the new Tehran-North expressway project after they didn't deliver their promises in a reasonable amount of time.

I read in Indian newspapers that Chabahar can reduce logistic costs by 20% for India. This means that putting them aside will make logistic costs for them 25% more expensive. Honestly I think they more than earned it and it should've been done earlier.

No matter how you look at it or try to explain it. The Indians were either a liability or simply put abusing Iran for their own interests.

There is no denying that ever since Trump started putting pressure on India to back off from Iran, Modi gladly ditched Iran. There is so much more to this story. This is something which was brewing for years. This didn't happen overnight.

I have to say I never saw it coming. There are hawks in Iranian regime who prefer good relations with India at all cost. The fact that Iranian leaders in the upper echelon simply ditched India in such a humiliating way is very unexpected yet commendable.
