Chinese national football team is the single worst national shame for China and whenever anyone brings up this topic we hang our heads in shame,but still it ranks way ahead of Indian team. I really fail to see what's here to celebrate.

Indeed is an achievement,Congrats India ! too bad Cricket has stolen all the fame in india otherwise they can surpass many nations.what they need id financial,national and government level support.both india and pakistan have the same issue regarding football and some other sports.

I fear the ISL will kill Indian football in its infancy.
The new proposed merger of i-League with ISl will kill small teams who can`t afford big finance to participate in ISl and the lack of any relegation system is just plain insane.
The goan clubs are against it , N.E clubs dislike it too. look at the clubs like royal wahingdoh, sponsored by local business and fans which finished third in last season , but had to seat out because they could not arrange the finances. Aizawl FC is not even the best club from mizoram but struggled to find a place in iLeague due to lack of sponsor. They were financed by fans , church and local business like bakeries and restaurants.
Despite being winner of i-League this season they may not find a place in the proposed league.
AIFF is brutally killing football in India for money. they simply dont understand, no fans means no money which means poor football.

Awesome achievement by a nation of 1.3 billion people after being in existence for 70 years !!!

Oh well, with 331 points India is at 100th position. China is at 81st position with 425 points. Bangladesh, well, Lets say 60-70 points were enough to put it ahead of Pakistan with meager 24 points. Bravo bong-beer (pun not intended)!
