Don't be deluded. India will not be able to blacklist Pakistan in FATF anymore, at least not since Imran Khan became their PM. Their international image has improved a hell lot in the last two years. On the contrary, India's international image has nosedived under the Modi regime. A lot of countries that used to be our allies or very friendly have become colder.
For example, Russia which used to be unilaterally in India's favour vis-a-vis Pakistan. Now, Russia maintains equal distance from both countries.
China actually used to be equidistant from both India and Pakistan during UPA rule. Now it is a very close Pakistan ally. We all are seeing the tensions in Ladakh even at the moment of writing this post.
India actually used to enjoy very close business ties with Turkey in 2005-12 time period. Turkish Airlines had made Indian cities a major hub for their Asia Pacific flights. Now it's a major Pakistan ally, and very cool/distant towards India.
Phir bacha kon? Donald Trump and Boris Johnson? Two crazy lunatics in USA and UK are Modi's only remaining close friends. Everywhere else he has become an international pariah. It will be a matter of time before his name surfaces in Hague War Crimes Tribunal or something related.
India's international image is currently at its bottom. I don't begrudge China or Pakistan from taking advantage of our current weakness. India's population chose this government. Now the entire country will pay the consequences for the bad decision in 2014.
