India has has so far conducted 40 million tests. Pakistan has carried out less than 3 million. I am sure karachi is following social distancing in the sewage disaster, for it to have low infection. Keep fooling yourself.
Pakistan needs to do around twice the number of tests India does in order to find a positive case. This is a reflection of the Islamic republic's lower positivity rate compared with the secular republic's. Quite simply, Pakistan is testing more than enough because not many are coming back positive as compared with India.
If our positivity rate reaches that of Hindustan, then we will ramp up testing in response.
The WHO has suggested around 10–30 tests per confirmed case as a general benchmark of adequate testing. Pakistan is carrying out 30-50 per confirmed case.
But please, do keep protesting against these realities.
