The issues discussed at the meeting included training for Bangladesh Coast Guard personnel, cooperation on combating maritime crimes, maritime search & rescue and pollution response at sea.
The meeting is a step ahead in institutionalisation of cooperation between the two Coast Guards, an official press release said.
The Bangladesh Coast Guard delegation is scheduled to visit Mumbai and Kolkata before they depart for Dhaka on April 10. They will be briefed on various facets of ICG operations and shipbuilding in India, the release added.

I don't know if Bangladeshi counterpart have discussed about illegal Indian fishing, theft, piracy and other criminal act in BD's territorial water. If not then this high level meeting is useless at best.Only way to deal with Indian sea criminal is to increase vigilance on part of BD coast Guard.Recent acquisition of Italian corvette might help in this direction.
