Its interesting to Read the reaction of Muslims to this arrest,............ full of hate and vindictiveness. Hardly a rational voice. Time to look at the face of Islam

How did Prophet (PBUH) treated suspects of blasphemy?

He refused to punish those who threw stones at him in Taif, yet the entire muslim world acts furiously when something is said against him. We can strongly disagree with such opinion without violence.

    Please enlighten me with hadees.

  • Mr Sanity Elite15 hours ago
He got someone else to do his dirty work on a few occasions though, most notably in the case of Asma bint Marwan - stabbed to death whilst she slept with her baby for making poetry negative about Mo.

  • trapezius77a day ago
If what he says is true, why should he be punished? (Assuming he took it down once he saw what it was, and did not leave it on there or propagate it in any way.)

  • JoeDokes999 trapezius7717 hours ago
He claims that he only "liked" the picture, but this would make it appear on his Facebook page while he was in Saudi Arabia, so that would meet the definition of blasphemy. It is unfortunate, and, as a Westerner, I find it sad and distasteful, but I recognize the right of KSA to enforce its laws as it sees fit, and if I was ever to visit KSA (which is unlikely), I would make sure I followed their laws and did not commit blasphemy.

Basically, ever since the BJP government existed in India, intolerant Hindus have gained tremendous courage, and this blasphemy is the sign of their over ambitions to conquer holy places of muslims, in succession to the demolition of Babri masjid in India.

Inspite of having a large number of talented youths, India is still a developing nation because of its pagan supertitious beliefs and practices

Blasphemy laws are lame. They reflect a mindset that can not rise above criticism or insult. Of course, agreeing with me could be seen as blasphemous so don't anyone do that else you could end up in the slammer.

Facebook and Twitter are both now a big problem. It's true any wrong click can be big problem but we don't know what we did. Specially smartphones are a big prob problem because of touch screen and sometimes slow network just a click sometimes its shared a photo or anything but user doesn't know. Thats make a mistake. So I think 1st time mistake better forgive.

  • Anwar Khana day ago
This is a blasphemy case and warrants that he should be punished, expelled and banned from entering KSA; Muslims do not tag any idol with the holy place of other religions. He is deliberately trying to superimpose his faith

How do you know that? Unless his intentions were proven to be otherwise, he needs to be given a fair trial and hearing. Do not jump to conclusions.

  • JoeDokes999 Anwar Khan17 hours ago
While, here in the West, I wouldn't support such a law, the law is the law and KSA has the right to impose its own culture and laws, so this man should have been more careful in the public expression of a view that is clearly blasphemous.

Indians should not be allowed into the Kingdom period, not for work not for anything, They are Najus, they hate Islam and muslims, they bring idols with them and have them in their homes, ofiices, cars and carry their pictures. A sample read of readers comments in indian newspapers (eg.Times of India) on any news story about Islam, Muslims, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan etc will show their true feelings of compulsive hate and enmity.

  • adam16 hours ago
Kingdom should not allow these Idol worshipers to even enter the country, They are Najus, they bring their Idols with them and carry them in their vehicles and wallets and have them in their homes and offices. Does the Quran not tell us about their hate and enmity towards the believers, just see the Indian newspapers (Times of india) readers comments they post for any story about Islam, Saudi Arabia,Pakistan, muslims etc..They will not rest until they bring about destruction of Islam.

Is facebook is accountable for material posted on it ????
Does facebook filter its contents such as anti-security, terrorism related material? If yes, why it does not filter anti-Islamic and blasphemous material?

  • The one who shall not be named19 hours ago
Firstly, I think he is lying because, never has facebook made anyone like a picture to view it. Secondly even if he did like to see the picture, he should have immediately un-liked it or deleted it. It shows he intentionally wanted everyone to see the picture but not want to take the blame for it

  • Syed19 hours ago
Punish him in such a way that it should be lesson to such fitna spreading people

  • justice19 hours ago
if he clicks "like" for such a clumsy picture, that itself is a violation of cyber laws every where including india.. so lets not try to belittle his crime.. ask the indians what they would do if some thing like that was caught there? just liking posts against humans can land you in jail.. there was 1 girl who complained on facebook how bal thakreys funeral disrupted traffic and another girl just "liked" it and both were roughed up by locals and landed up in the police station just because they were muslims. it was all over the media, but no body did any thing.

AN- there is no point highlighting that he's been here ONLY for 2 years.. you're expected to understand the laws before entering a country not after breaking them.

May Allah keep the KSA to give such a remarkable punishment to those who violate the Islamic values

    He is innocent...

Thru social media, it is someone trapped him to visit the page with normal photo at first and he clicked the page, later the page has been changed with blasphemous image of the Kaaba.

Now-a-days, their is lot of new materials, you-tube, social media need to logging using Facebook Id. During pop-up it will show a normal picture of natural scenery or a pet animal, after we trapped by it, click it, will share it page in our social media homepage, and later operator the picture will be changed to publish his intention about a nude one, or political offense or religious offense.

why punish him whenthe Saudis are doing the same, they destroying all the Islamic heritage all over the middle east with the help from ISIS

  • RajRaja day ago
what the heck is wrong with you people, who in the world would do anything like this in his proper mind and state. Believing that he is working in a Muslim country.
If he can prove his innocence then well and good for him, and any which way the law is only for the ajnabis. How many saudis have you seen being punished? either they are cleared as disturbed minds or sent off the land for better.

  • Mansoor Warrena day ago
Liar says "he jsut needed to click like to open it". Do not we all use facebook. Real Indian mentality coems out in the open.

  • Clark Oandasana day ago
the accused must have been given a chance to errace or correct his pasted posts. such punishments should not be occurred if he should been given chance to errace or counter what he has previously posted...
sometimes you need to like a posted image for you to read it later because you are too busy and you think it is interesting to read it later that's why you have to like it in order to be able to see and read later after work...
at least the FB company should be blamed for not putting a choice to like it but not to share it...like it because you are interested to read it later..
but FB once you liked it, it will also share it....FB should be blame 80%.

  • T Ja day ago
But this is a real menace which facebook should address.. Many times on FB some link will be offered and they will ask you to share before you can view.. And finally you end up sharing which is obnoxious and filthy..
If eating cow can hurt the feeling of hindus and a cow seller ot butcher can go jail and pay fines because its hurt releigous feelings of hindus.then making distributing a offending picture of kabba can hurt the feeling of saudis and they can make any law against it.we are human can do mistakes and go extreme in making laws.

Sorry for my bad english but I hope you will get the point.dosro par ungli uthaney sey pehley apna greban mey jankna chahye.

Only Indian law is to PROTECT LIVES, Saudi law is to TAKE LIVES and deny free speech.

See the difference ?

Its not about taking or giving life.its about religious feelings.you have them and they have also.so its even.you cannot point fingers on them.
I saw your posts in other cow related threads so you cannot fool me your twisting words.

Nope, its about Protecting those who live under our protection. That is the religious belief. And that include Cows.

But Free speech is a whole different ball game. There is no relationship between the too. There is no particular need to "fool" you, you are doing a good job by yourself.

Saudis follow an old culture of Jahaliya.

. . .
There are many such fraud links circulating in Facebook which ask people to click like to see the image. These links contain malicious scripts which can do anything with your account.

Ofcourse, moronic saud government will not understand all this and will be sharpening their knives for the poor fellow.
I hope the Indian consulate will explain this to those Saudis.... I came across many such links where headlines are catchy to attract attention...

Poor buffaloes and goats don't deserve your protection umbrella or why only cow deserve special laws of protection?cow is sacred for you so you protect it and buffalo or goat don't deserve this protection. So its all matter of religious feeling not for so called morales.and I am not saying about free speech any thing.its all religious feelings which controling you both.you guys ban cow eating for muslims in you country because its hurt your religious feeling and its a punishable crime. The man they arrested in saudia hurt their religious feelings so they arrest him.

Buffaloes and milk giving goats deserve this protection too. Those religious "feelings" are called morals :coffee:

Just by calling "morals" and "ethics" as "feelings" you cannot wish away the truth or twist logic to suit your prejudice.

Indian law is designed to PROTECT lives, saudi laws is designed to prevent Free Speech. Two entirely different matter for those who can think beyond "religious feelings".

.
LOL...... of course its fake :P ....... you have the monopoly on the truth.

LOL even the story itself is taken from Islamic sources not considered reliable by Islamic historians. If we found it so objectionable we would not have ever recorded it.

I think both beef ban and Saudi Kaaba tantrum are wrong.
I as a vegetarian am in favour of complete ban on killing animals. We should not make this discrimination. But if you are allowing other meat , cow meat is permissible. One step ahead, Why not human meat? I also want all the Muslims to fight against dog meat ban which goes on in western countries.

Kaaba picture s put in Facebook. Why is fb not taken to task. I can like what I want. Of Hindu god was painted nude all Muslims liked it. I honestly support restoration of Kaaba. So both are wrong
