Three Indian soldiers were killed in a militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pampore town on Saturday afternoon, the Northern Command of the Indian Army told PTI. A police officer said that the attack took place when militants opened fire at an Army convoy in Kadlabal in Pampore town of Pulwama district.

Security forces have cordoned off the adjoining residential area and launched a search operation. “Terrorists attacked, security forces retaliated; Public was present so couldn’t fire openly but terrorists were forced to run away,” the inspector general of the Central Reserve Police Force told ANI.

Ever since the Indian Army conducted “surgical strikes” across the Line of Control on September 29, there have been regular attacks from across the border and multiple ceasefire violations. On December 14, security forces killed a militant during an encounter in Anantnag’s Bijbehara in Jammu and Kashmir while the armed forces had cordoned off Bomai in Sopore area as militants were believed to be hold up inside a building. Earlier on December 9, three suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba militants were killed in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district. An Army jawan was also injured in the 36-hour gunfight.

It's not even our intention to reverse those events. Or else, we would've annexed Bangladesh in 1971. We didn't. Simple because we're not an occupier force. We're just not bred that way.

Had you tried to occupy bangladesh in 1971 your military would have got bogged down by a bengali insurgency. The creation of Pakistan and bangladesh has shown that you cannot form nations from different races of people.

What do you mean? Pakistan and India are both countries with different races of people.

Bangladesh was a result of Pakistani neglect. As well, there was a giant hostile neighbor in the middle.

But the vast majority of races that make up Pakistan are different to those that make up india or bangladesh. We don't have nothing in common with eachother.

I'm honestly confused because you say this while being in UK. So how do you describe your presence or that of many other Pakistanis in other parts of the world.

Are they all trying to carve out separate countries everywhere in the world? Do you realize how scary that sounds for your own sake?

No. I just live here. I have no intention of having power in this country. UK is still a White Western European Christian nation and that's where the power lies. Even though there are many ethnic minorities living here.

Pakistan has over 10 million Afghans living there but the power still lies with the indigenous Pakistanis. You can live anywhere in the world but the elite and power of ANY nation on only go to 1 community. It can NEVER be shared between different races. That is EXACTLY why bangladesh was created. Why Pakistan was created.

Ok you're not. What about those millions of Pakistanis who are citizens of UK, US, and other parts of the world. Are you saying they don't belong there? Because if that's what your're saying, that only makes them hypocrites.

The point I'm trying to make is, if you give equal rights and space to coexist to any community and race, they generally assimilate and live together very well.

Bangalis separated because yall didn't give them space. From day one you tried to impose Urdu on them (it is besides the point that Urdu wasn't even your language in the first place). They were short and dark and the macho Punjabis were tall, muscular, and fair. So you won't let them rise in your army. You won't let them form a govt. despite winning the elections.

When you do all this, no community will be ready to live with you.

They have the right to be there but they will never be in a position to have the nation's power. That for ANY nation will always be held by ONLY 1 race of people.

Anyone who has lived near an army base, or driven in the mountains, knows how to be very very scared of army vehicles and their drivers. Doesnt matter if they are 3 tonners, water tankers, gypsies, ambulances or those cage type school trucks.

You have to understand how ordinary Indians perceive Kashmir, first.

For an ordinary Indian, Kashmir is our land, part of our Bharat Ma. You see, the Brtish never FELT that India was their land. They were occupiers and we were occupied. End f story.

Indians, however, don't consider ourselves 'occupiers. and that's precisely why we're willing to kill and die in as much a number as is required to keep mother India from breaking once again. You don't just 'give' your mother away to someone, do you?

Having said that, we do feel bad for the Kashmiris in the sense that they are being misled to ruin generation after generation by people who enjoy pretty comfortable lives themselves.

We're not sorry about our actions. We're sorry about the fact that that action is needed.

Let's call a spade a spade. There are a large number of Kashmiris who got left behind in the wrong country once our forces responded and halted the tribal advance. They find themselves on the wrong side of the line. Many have crossed over. Many have family both sides of the line. With sporadic contact in spite of the hostilities. I do not know why those who should have crossed over but did not cross over did not or do not cross over. But for them I see few options. And a lot if hate and frustration. Which they will live in and pass on to their children. Or if their children are lucky, they will move abroad for their studies and never come back. This is a sad plight to be in. And to be honest they brought it upon themselves when they went fundamentalist on their Hindu brethren. Till then most Indians thought of them as Indians first. Much as our Maoists. But the religion tinged separatism and atrocities on Hindus spelled the death knell of any rapprochement with the rest of India. I am afraid it will take at least a couple of generations if not more for Indians to forgive forget and accept Kashmiris back as their own, if and once they show a desire to reform and repent. If they do not, then they will continue to be treated as a hostile alien populace squatting on our sovereign land. And dealt with as an alien hostile populace. And there is really nothing China or the US or any other world power can or will do about it. Pakistan has an existential stake in Kashmir and will keep trying. But let's face it, the day we went nuclear, you lost Kashmir.

They probably did it deliberately.

Even animals have some piety and compassion for the living things but it seems our neighbors stoop too low even surpasses the cruelty of animals.

Yes , the return of the killer ambulance , we shall call the incident !!!Amamzing acting by the Indian army , btw , to have staged it as an accident , while it was cold blooded murder .....i mean ,one would have thought that considering she was struck by an ambulance and then rushed and treated at the army and government hospitals there , it could have been a genuine accident, but no , it takes the genius of Pakistanis to crack the case like CSI investigators

Yes yes samandri or braith you hate pakistan army. We get it by the way you bring pakistan army everywhere. Yeah in a city where security is a massive issue at a sensitive place where a car doesn't stop despite being signalled too. Anyhow that's not the point.

It seems an accident that is being reported like this.

Kashmiris have nothing in common with you linguistically or ethnically or culturally. The ground reality and sentiments on the ground speaks volumes

Feel free to invite those who share the love to Pakistan. The land of Kashmir isn't going anywhere. The migration that happened in 1947, can happen again.
