Indian Army pitches again for operational control over ITBP

It should be the job of CAPFs to guard borders not the IA, they are overstretched as it is and certainly aren't border guards. ITBP is actually a well equipped and very well trained CAPF on the whole.


I hope that one day the IA is allowed to give such roles such as CT (in say NE and JK) and border protection to federal and state police units.

If they are that good, then they should manning the border with CHina 24-7 at every point.

Whatever new tech has come out in the world, our industries have not been following and trying to emulate it quickly. Why? Politicans lining their pockets at the behest of our nation? Incompetence? Corruption? Wtf? Money? Well, if passed stringent laws.....it woud help save money to procure such tech and devices.

Border security is one of the most important areas of concern. Our haphazard border security has allowed banglas, Pokis, and Chinese to infiltrate when and where. Wtf!
