The UP ATS has arrested a retired Army subedar in Jhansi on charges of spying for Pakistan-based ISI. Officials alleged that Indrapal Kushwaha , 52, used to pass on sensitive Army documents through a cyber cafe.

The ATS allegedly recovered four documents of the Army, a CD containing the Army’s confidential papers, two cellphones and a telephone diary from Kushwaha.“Kushwaha, a native of Banda district, was working as an ISI spy for two years; he had retired from service in October last year,” said an officer.

According to ATS officials, they had been receiving inputs for the last few months that the ISI was being sent information about the Jhansi Cantonment through an agent. During inquiry it was found Kushwaha, who was posted at the Jhansi unit, was passing on information from a cyber cafe at Sadar Bazaar area in Jhansi.

Well done!
By the way can you tell what was the status of that Indian army officer?? @Zarvan
An Army Subedar IS NOT AN ARMY OFFICER! Please don't confuse the issue. I suggest you first get to know the hierarchy and rank structure of the Army, before commenting.

A Subedar is basically a jawan who has attained this rank. Though they are called, 'Junior Commissioned Officers', or JCOs, they are not commissioned officers.
