As the Defence minister said yes, it is now an official figure.
Also ISPR never gave total figures, even in its year end infograph it gave only total number of civilians killed all the while keeping mouth shut about total number of pakistani soldiers killed.
The 144 soldier figure was corroborated in Legislative Assembly in both June and as well as in December:

Only thing the 4500 figure matches with is a 2012 figure by Antony which included soldiers killed from all causes(diseases, accidents etc)
So defense minister accepts vaguely something in a TV program and its credible but Indian army accepts something in written but it is not credible.
If 27 Pakistani soldiers died on LOC then 4500+ Indian soldiers are also died on LOC since it is accepted by Indian army in written.
And now in this post you accepted figure of 4500+ while in earlier posts you were rejecting it. Make up your mind FFS.
ISPR issued details of casualties when they happened and as per those details 12 Pakistani soldiers are martyred since Sep 29.
Meanwhile India got a massive beating and lost 4500+in Pakistani firing and not accidents etc on LOC.
13 killed in cross border firing.
Regular militancy encounters is not a part of border firing.
Just correcting that your figure of 13 is wrong. Your army also says that 5 killed by BAT also consist of Pakistan army regulars too. So they can be counted too.
