Indian Air Force undergoing major transformation: Air Chief

i still think we will get at least 50 pak fa before fgfa....
According to me we should make fgfa as a single seater. Twin seats will definitely effect the stealth...

The most important thing , i was searching for the discussion regarding AMCA development. And, I am thinking why NDTV dint asked a important question?

Actually, they didn't even asked about FGFA which is the first to come and where the development is already fixed. AMCA is only cleared for studies and tech demo versions, there is still no decision on a development for a production version and hopefully they will be smart enough to not to go for it.

I mho, our so called defence journalist are Dumbo in real.. whats your say? If he started asking about indigenous developments. He should have discussed about AMCA also.

I would have asked him about his visit in Russia and his point of view on the T50 prototype and about FGFA, because there are not many infos about our type and it will be the first and most important 5th gen development for IAF, that also comes first. So why asking him about a fighter that will come only beyond 2020, if at all, when FGFA is about to come soon?

Guys he is a COAS...if you are interviewing a man such as PV Naik then all the questions that the journalist wants to ask has to be pre-cleared by the Air force staff....this is to avoid some loony bin asking some unwanted china centric questions ....This kinds of interviews are pre-staged....Journalist may have wanted to ask about MACA, FGFA...but whats the guarantee that Air Force staff cleared it ?
